This movie has been available online for some time now under the title, In The Deep. It's finally getting a theatrical release this Summer. CGI sharks look like CGI sharks, but it's got some great tension. I really liked this one and plan on seeing it in the theater for the big screen experience. Best shark movie I've seen since Jaws 2.

How do you embed youtube videos? The tag up there did nothing for me.

you have to take the last little bit of the addy and put it in the tags. for that video everything after the "v=" thing.

Was definitely planning on seeing this, in spite of the cgi sharks.

Yeah, it has some great tension and the isolation of being unable to see what's in front of you is top notch. I just thought it had a stronger first half, then second half. Nonetheless, it's still pretty good and It does have some solid shark moments.

The CGI looked better than I recall. I wonder if they didn't do some touch ups or if it just works better on the big screen.

Absolutely. After the first 20 minutes of boring and unnecessary character development, it gets really good.

It looks pretty good and intense. Especially as I know I always think it's a good idea to descend down into a cage in the water where sharks await using simple stupid fucking rope. Not a steel cable line or summat. Fuck it.

They used a cable to go down. The rope was used to try and bring them back up.
