Some movies need to be owned on blu-ray. I have re-bought two movies in my life that absolutely needed to be owned on blu-ray. The Revenant was the first, and I bought The Thing this week. I popped that sucker in the day before yesterday to look at the transformations and it was amazing. Blu ray transfer has improved so drastically over the years. Phantasm sold me on blu ray when I bought the box set with all 5 movies and watched Phantasm on it.

This is based off my upcoming paycheck, which I'll get over the weekend.
So two weeks after that.

People need to quit focusing on businesses/companies dishing out more money and start focusing on the cost of living being absolutely totally fucking ridiculous. It should never cost more than 50% of your income to simply rent a house or apartment. Meanwhile people (especially in California) are paying 80% or even more of their income just to rent a home, and I'm not even just referring to minimum wage workers, either.

Government intervention is the way to stymie that trend.
