Also a friend from high school is coming up to visit me next weekend and I'm nervous as fuck. Haven't seen them in 16 years.

Me on ebay right now, randomly completing my collection of Garfield comic books for some unknown reason.

The books are simply the comic strips that you see in the newspaper. Each book has about 7 or 8 months worth of comic strips. The first 36 books have 21 years worth of comic strips, every single day for 21 years. After book 36, apparently the shape of the book changes from a rectangular, strip-shape book to a more squared out book... I'll focus on those later.

I used to rent these from the library in elementary school all the time. I was probably the world's biggest Garfield fan as a kid, and that is no exaggeration. Was gonna buy them on amazon, but the price for each book was about 1.50 extra per book on average. On ebay, the average book is about 4 bucks. Which is a pretty good deal, but I only own 4 of the 36 books, so if I want to collect the remaining 32 books, 128 bucks is pretty pricy. So I splurged (sorta), but I spent an extra two hours saving a bunch of money -on my car insurance by switching to Geico- by purchasing through sellers that offer "Buy X-amount, get X-amount free" deals, as well as purchasing through sellers that have random bundles.

After two hours I bought 28 of the 32 I needed, as well as the Halloween and Thanksgiving specials, so 30 books total. I bought from four or five different sellers and paid a total of 47 bucks for 28 of the 32 books that I need. I just need the original four books, now. I'm just waiting on a bundle from a seller who has 1-4. Looking at another 13 or 14 bucks if my offer is accepted.

By taking the two extra hours to ensure I get the absolute best deals, I spent $60 instead of $136+.

I can now perfectly relate to Hank from Breaking Bad when he was taken off work and started building a rock collection on eBay. I mean minerals.
