It's the real house on Genesee. Nancy's Mom was still awake, as you can see her bedroom is lit up. :p

Yeah. It turned to bad shape, but somebody remodeled it and sold it for like 2 million.

I went by the house once over a decade ago. I shared with HMF, but I dont' think I have the pic anymore.

That house is in Ohio!!!

I do remember as a kid, all of us laughing seeing palm trees in the background. That's very cool, Jason.

They made no effort in the first film to hide the palm trees because they never specified it was Ohio in the first movie, lol. I think that came along in 3 but I'd have to doublecheck. Possibly 2.

Yeah I remember noticing the last time I marathoned where I was like.. "wait a sec...there's not mention of Ohio anywhere, no wonder Craven gave no shits about showing so much LA shit" Like that river with the arc bridges.

It's possible it could be on the newspaper too...I can't remember off the top of my head.
