Only read the preamble, then looked up a couple summaries. I couldn't really tell if it was a punt to 2020, or a legit effort to withdraw in an orderly manner.

It’s the official withdrawal agreement. The main thing it forces is the extension to iron out trade but on EU terms.

It’s a shit show no matter how you slice it. Hurtling towards a self-inflicted cliff and refusing to pull the brake in the name of Democracy is the single dumbest thing I’ve seen in government.

You don't think citizens should have a say in their sovereignty?

Your levity is in stark contrast with the mood of actual England.

Wouldn’t surprise me. Brexit was the last vestiges of Imperial Britain and its Colonial past jumping to a giant shuddering heave before they all die or get replaced. The worst part is the Brexiteers whose hypocrisy is so rank and out of touch, while business after business and investor after investor start to fuck off to Europe due to the massive uncertainty.

Am I correct in understanding that the people voted to leave the union but the leadership cant agree on an exit plan and the bulk of the weight falls on May who inherited this situation and had voted to stay in the union? Very odd situation

Largely yes, in broad terms. May now is pushing to honor Brexit but the only deal she can secure won’t get support and lost by historic margins. Now it’s either crash and burn or ignore a stupid but democratic decision.

Like I'm gonna trust someone who works for them. HA!!! :p

Really, though. It's undeniably corrupt.

It really isn’t. And I don’t work for them as such.

British government is so corrupt, that when a vote passes that they didn't want passed, they will just turn around and keep having a revote until they get the result they want.

That said, I'm glad Theresa May's deal fell through. No Deal Brexit or bust. Anything less is a betrayal of the will of the people. Citizens need to stand up and save the great country of England. This is undeniable corruption being shoved right in their faces.
