I think I talked about this on one of the previous incarnations of the boards, but here it is again.

Have you ever wanted to see a film completely uncut, but it's never received a proper uncut/extended edition release? Ever wonder what a film would be like if the suits didn't come in and cut it to hell? How about cutting out a really dumb scene that basically ruins a film? Or remove unwanted bloat? Or how about changing the entire narrative by moving scenes around? Well, there's a whole group of nerds that like editing films and giving you just that.

FanEdit.org is the main site that showcases all the edits, has a message board to discuss them, and even has their own database, ifdb. They don't host any of the edits on-site, since the legality of it is questionable at best, but they can all be found here. You would need something like jdownloader to actually download the files, but it's safe to use(no adware/viruses), and isn't traceable like torrents(no worries on the legal front). It's worth checking out if you're a film nerd. Here's a direct link to the horror section to get you started.

The main thing I want to see is the intended cut of Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood, before the MPAA PG'd up all the good kills.
