Morning! Happy Saturday! Anybody have any good plans? I'm avoiding the hellfire until it gets cooler.

My view in the mornings now. I've successfully kept a beagle off my bed for five years but this one won't take no for an answer. :x

It is so fucking hot, and I think the new AC unit crapped out this week. It's been miserable since the 4th.

Rubbish. Hot here too by British standards. Not fun with kids.

It's a 109 today, supposed to be the spike for a while.

Apartment manager said to see how the AC unit acts over the weekend (Because the LG brand does say the units become "challenged" when exterior temperatures are above 95...which makes me wonder why the fuck they're sold in SoCal), and if it continues blowing like a fan rather than an AC unit, they'll look at it.

Just sucks because it was a new unit, and it was working so beautifully till this week.

Yeah, and I was jealous that even Hesperia was listed as only 103 today. I was thinking "when the fuck does the temperature switch between Jason and I? Goddammit!" :P

I actually live on the northernmost area of Hesperia, which is just a short couple miles south of Victorville. Which is more accurate of the weather I experience.

Regardless, we got this giant cumulus cloud that is making it unbelievably humid as hell outside. I don't know what the humidity is listed as, but I bet it's a total fuckin' lie. :P

I think if I lived in Death Valley I'd already be dead, though.

109 with hot Santa Ana winds. I can barely breathe outside.

Sounds like your best bet is to stay indoors.

Unfortunately I am going off to gaming later. Hopefully it gets below 100 by 6pm, but I doubt it.

Is anybody interested in Bruce Springsteen enough for me to make a top 50 song list?

I've thought about making one for kind of a while.

I'm not a fan of Springsteen but would be interested in your list.

It all depends on what you look for in music. Good sound? good lyrics? how songs relate to your life? I've said for a long time that if I ever decided to write an autobiography on my life, Bruce could sue me for plagiarism, because he's already written about it all.

I was thinking about writing reviews for each song as if I were speaking to someone who is looking into pursuing the avenue of his music. But it takes a lot of time and effort, especially if it's 50. I'm not creating the list just for the sake of making it. More so providing my take on what I get from his music and explaining it to someone who knows some of Bruce Springsteen and is looking to pursue more.

It's also difficult in that I've loved about 20 songs of his as if they were my favorite and generated a lot of playing time. So it's hard to place one over the other.

nevermind. grrr. my brain is fucking fried.
I don't know, sometimes it's pretty cool. Had a plumber over on Wednesday who was freaked out by my IT Pennywise mask, scared him as a kid. I pointed to another mask, asked him if it bothered him? He said he didn't know where it came from. I told him it was from New 52 Batman comic of the Joker, and that he cuts his own face off and uses it as a mask. I thought that was cool as fuck, he didn't talk to me again.
