I am missing out on all these horror releases I think. Can anybody up to speed post a list of the ones that are out now or coming out that are attractive?

what i'm looking most forward to, that either just hit theaters or will within the year are.... maxxxine, longlegs, cuckoo, nosferatu, alien romulus, substance.

i'm sure there are more, but i too haven't been so much in the loop.

Every time I log onto twitter/x, I see all these new horror releases, and here I am, someone who hasn't even seen the fifth Scream movie yet, let alone movies like Terrifier 2 or X/Pearl.

I'm so out of the loop, I may as well not be near a loop. :P

eww twitter has become one of the circles of hell, maybe even two circles. but you should skip scream 5 and 6 (as it isn't going to lead to anything more with those characters) and go for terrifier 2 and the x trilogy.

I've never been much for the whole social aspect of Twitter, and it's definitely gotten worse in the last couple of years.

When my next modern horror mood strikes, I hope to get some of these movies out of the way. Consistently heard decent things about X and Terrifier 2 (though that run-time still gives me the chills).

I've subscribed to Shudder in the past. Once I actually have something of a disposable income (unlikely af amiright??>??), I wouldn't mind going back to it. Always appreciated the selection they had.

I've recently gone to see the new Quiet Place ,MaXXXine and Longlegs and I enjoyed all 3. I wouldn't see MaXXXine unless you have seen X already it's a definite prerequisite

I've seen both Pearl and X and thought they were pretty decent. I haven't seen any A Quiet Place movies though. And don't know anything about Longlegs

This Quiet Place is a prequel so you would be fine seeing that but the original is far superior. Highly recommend the first A Quiet Place. Longlegs seems to be splitting the horror fan base. I personally thought it was excellent

I prefer to watch in the order the movies came out. So I'd watch them all before the prequel.

Ooh, Longlegs splitting the horror community? That one just got bumped to the top.
