I've made it to the short story "Dedication" in Nightmares and Dreamscapes for a second time and Night Flier was the only story so far I had any recollection of reading. If there's a movie I will watch it

I personally think The Night Flier is a classic of the late 1990's. Terrified the shit out of me when I was a kid, and has a quality vibe to it.
That said, while I strongly love the film, I can't say that some of it isn't nostalgia. Still, Miguel Ferrer is stellar in it, as is Dan Monahan.

How was the Nightmares and Dreamscapes mini-series anthology?

If you can get past the really bad FX work, it's okay.

like most anthlogogies, hit or miss. But Battleground is frigg'n awesome.

I can't remember the sequels but I know I've seen them. First Omen was damn good imo but it's divisive

I have the hot take that Damien: Omen II is more enjoyable than the first Omen. That said, I think both are quite good. I can't say I remember The Final Conflict that well, and I've never seen the fourth movie.

Decided that Hellraiser will be the first movie of my October.
The last time I saw Hellraiser was April 11th, 2016, so it should be fun to revisit (though it's never been a favorite as far as the classics go).

I got The Omen Collection on Blu-ray and knew it had 4 movies on it. I thought the fourth movie would be Omen IV: The Awakening but it's the shitty 2006 remake

Oof, that is bummer, like going to the doc thinking you're just gonna find syphilis but nope, it's AIDS. Condolences.

I kinda liked the little creepy girl in IV. I don't remember liking anything about the remake
