Florida has been a shithole for decades. That said, I do feel sorry for everyone who's lost everything they had there. It's just a shame this country doesn't take climate change seriously. These storms will only get worse over time.

I didn't sleep well at all last night, so I was up by 4AM

Ava is on the east side of the peninsula and says so far it's just been pretty rainy and windy. Predicting it won't get crazy where they are at, but shall see.

A film-maker contacted me via my website's contact function in early/mid September, but because I was so focused on politics and the upcoming October Challenge, I didn't see it until now.

I really need to check that thing more than every month-and-a-half.

I know, I'm a disappointment. The movie in question is "Shark Girl" - they sent a private digital screener and offered an interview. And I don't reply for a month-and-a-half. I know why people call me a "dick" now.

does it look okay? something we could watch for the challenge?

I didn't even watch the trailer, just checked the link (which still works with the password given), and said that if he's still interested, I could review it in the last week of October.

Probably can't share the link, though maybe he'd like the publicity of a forum getting together for a Shark Girl night.

Fucking A, it's like homegrown, shot right down the way in Venice Beach, dawg, woot!

Which means it will be crawling with homeless people in every shot and the movie will look like ass.
