Think it is possible to create a Scream section like the site has a Halloween movie section, Hellraiser, etc.

Possible? Yes. Is there a reason to? No.

We have sections for Sleepaway Camp and Phantasm, Neither of those are big franchises like Scream.
So I see no harm in creating one.

But, the lack of activity on the board these days might be the reason not to do it. The ones we have already barely get any new topics/post as is.

Scream does make more sense than Sleepaway Camp they are still making Screams

I have never been a huge fan of Scream. I liked the first one the most but feel it's become too redundant with many pointless sequels. How many Ghostface copy-cat killers have we had? lol
The big city setting of Scream VI made it feel a bit different but overall I it's not one of my favorite franchises.

Honestly, it is the whole copy-cat killer thing that kills Scream for me now. The original killers were fucking Stu and Billy, two entitled pimple popping high school kids with fucked up wiring. They ain't John Doe, there's nothing to puzzle over or need to emulate.

It's not up to me, I am not an Admin here. They are the ones who make that decision.

We have more than one these days (6 in total) and I'm not sure how that hierarchy works tbh, I was on a hiatus from HMF for several years.
My only suggestion would be to take make your case to them as to why a scream section is needed.

I already said all I need is one of Seb's little quips.

Reign has final say since he pays the bills. I'd most likely be called on to actually add it, but I'm not gonna do it just because someone asked for it. We've already got too many dead boards as it is.

My initial thought was to just throw Camp Arawak into Misc. Horror and just edit/rename SC into Scream and call it donesville.

This was my concern as well. We have several boards that are dead as you put it. Has there ever been talk of merging some of them?
