Unfortunately for us fans, this years build up to WM has been underwhelming. I feel this is in part to the previous 3 WM events being stacked and delivering as a whole. Nevertheless, this is what we're getting this year so here are my official predictions.

Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena - I should care a lot about this match but the truth is, I could care less. Cena's heel turn was well done at EC but everything that's followed has made it underwhelming. His "divorcing the fans" promo was just...strange, the interactions between him and Cody have been mostly weak, Cena's lack of wardrobe and entrance music change, and the (yet to be explained) absence of The Rock has hurt what could have been a blowout heel turn.

Prediction: Cena wins, but honestly it should be Cody considering how this story has played out so far.

Jade Cargill vs. Naomi - I was super pumped when Jade signed with WWE but her debut was just strangely delayed, then it happened in awesome fashion only for her to be so poorly booked that her first year in WWE is just forgettable. The injury angle was dragged out for reasons never explained and now she's back. Her attack on Naomi at EC was well done only for her to take a loss to Liv a few weeks ago and now this feud has obviously been set up to make Naomi look good.

Predication: Naomi wins and Jade quietly vanishes from WWE.

Side note: I see a ton of potential for Jade and I do hope I am wrong here and she destroys Naomi at WM. But my gut feeling is telling me that the opposite happens. For whatever reason WWE seems to have given up on Jade. But again... maybe I am reading into too much. idk.

Roman vs. Punk vs. Seth: Another match I could care less about. I feel Roman vs. Punk would have wrote itself but per usual fucking Seth (like his wife) has to be shoehorned into everything.

Prediction: Roman wins

Gunther vs. Jey Uso: This feud has been boring AF minus the one moment where Gunther beat down Jey's brother.

Prediction: Jey wins but Gunther should retain and WWE move on from the "yeet man". Jey is a flash in the pan, nothing more.

Iyo vs. Bianca vs. Rhea: Ok! Reign already knows how fucking PISSED I am over this situation. WWE dropped the ball so badly with the Bianca/Rhea dream match that it's just mindboggling. There was no reason for IYO (a fucking mid carder) to be shoehorned into this match when she could have easily been put in a tag or whatever. But this is what we are getting and frankly I could care less who wins because it's ruined what I've been waiting on for three years!

Prediction: Bianca wins but given the storyline Iyo should retain.

Side note: Maybe at WM 42 we finally get the dream match?

Tiffany vs. Charlotte: I was expecting more from this feud tbh and it's been just an epic failure all around. These two (sadly) have zero chemistry and Charlotte has had to carry it all the way. Tiffany had an opportunity here but she's obviously not ready for the big spot... Maybe that changes in the future.

Predication: Charlotte wins and Tiffany is dropped down into the lower tier, possibly fades into obscurity over time.

LA Knight vs. Jacob Fatu: This should be fun.

Prediction: Fatu wins and Knight moves up to the World title picture later in the year.

Priest vs. Drew: This has the potential to be the best match on the card, two heavy hitters in a street fight!

Predication: Drew wins and goes on to win one of the WC later in the year. Priest rebounds around RR next year.

Bron vs. Penta vs. Balor. vs. Dom: Another match I could care less about.

Prediction: Dom wins, begins feud with Balor while Penta and Bron move on to other things.

Jade Cargill vs. Naomi - Jade gonna fuck that bitch up. Yes, Jade's run isn't panning out well for a variety reasons, bad booking, her still being kinda green. But no way is she vanishing after this, she's got a Mania spot that is especially at premium for women. They'll pivot with her, but I ain't seeing her vanish.

Roman vs. Punk vs. Seth - My boy Seth gonna curb stomp all day on those two ingrate half-assed bitches. 2 motherfuckers can't work a full schedule if their lives depended on them with copious amounts of ring rust while Seth holds it down.

I could care less about the tag matches so I didn't list them. lol
I find it odd that the women's I.C. and U.S. champs are not defending their titles at this event, especially when it's two nights. Seems WWE doesn't care about these new belts at all.

Also Bayley teaming with Lyra after having it out over the I.C. title is BS. Bayley was in a decent feud with Roxanne Perez, that should have been her WM match.

Back to Jade. I don't agree with the argument of her being "green." Her matches have been fine minus the one where she slipped on the rope and that could have happened to anyone. And regarding rumors of her having back stage issues with Baszler, that shit was just bogus crap put out by that hack Dave Meltzer. My only guess is she had some real life issues happening with family or something that has hindered her development but I don't agree that she's still green. I believe they simply don't know what to do with her which is a shame. But maybe that will change after WM.

Also AJ vs Logan Paul and Rey vs El Grande Americano.

I said from the jump 2 women's mid-card titles is stupid and overkill, this proves it.

Yeah, Bayley vs. Perez would have been a much better match.

We had a similar convo about Jade before and since then she has only gone on hiatus, doesn't help prove otherwise. To me, she is still pretty stiff, not smooth and polished yet in there (putting her next to Bianca helps on one hand, but also shows who is the pro on the other), and her acting sucks. But most the chicks acting sucks. Her matches have been "fine" because she hasn't had to carry any and not much has been asked of her. But here we are, this is truly her chance to shine now and show she is worthy of a coveted Mania spot.

In which, this is Mania, fine doesn't cut it. I guarantee Roxanne Perez would have went out and put on a banger with whoever. No one is betting on that for Jade and Naomi. Shame for her.

There’s plenty of wrestlers who worked stiff styles and couldn’t carry matches yet had good careers. Vader and Ultimate Warrior are great examples here. And to your point in a previous thread, Jade needs the Warrior treatment here. Have shorter matches, destroy just about everything in her path, then when the time is right she can challenge one of the champions. Bianca, Rhea, or Charlotte… any of these three could easily carry the match.

We agree, bad booking there, should have been Warrior style. And I like Jade, got the look, money to be made, the E has mainly mismanaged this.

AJ vs Logan… I like AJ, one of the best in ring workers ever! But I suspect Logan will win which sucks because it seems like AJ has been reduced to a jobber these days. He’s got a lot left in the tank and deserves at least one more title run.

Fucking hell, Heyman really gave Roman's sack the business.

Overall this WM wasn't that bad imo. Certainly not on the level of last year but that was to be expected.

What I liked:

Finally, Cody's boring reign is fucking OVER! Thank you Cena!

The Triple threat match between Roman, Punk , & Seth was a instant classic!

LA Knight and Jacob Fatu was great.

Jade Cargill destroys Naomi!

Paul Heyman heel turn!

Dirty Dom Winning the I.C. title!

Joe Fucking Hendry!!!

What I did not like:

Iyo winning the Women's triple threat was BS. Her push makes even less sense!

Travis Scott involvement was annoying (seriously, I can't stand this guy in RL)

Where was The Rock? (his absence in Cena's storyline is hindering it imo)

Becky Lynch. Why in the fuck does she always get a title win the moment she returns?
Overrated bitch just keeps burying other talent.

Triple H keeps treating the women's mid card titles like they don't exist! (e.g. Lyra being a tag champ while holding the I.C. Title)

Moment you loved and ones you didn't.

The build absolutely sucked, but in the end Papa Haitch tickled my balls. I got Seth and Cena winning, and the absolute cherry on top with a chef's kiss was Dirty Dom taking it home, wooooooo! I was happy.

Night One:
Jey vs Gunths was fine, expected outcome, I did not like the quick tap.
Hopefully they finally do something with this New Day heel turn.
Jade the Slade crushed!
LA Knight and Fatu had a good match, no problems with the young beast winning his first strap.
Ellllllll Grande, oh yeah! Was whatever but Americano looked good.
Tiffffyyy Time! I thought for sure she chipped a tooth. Decent match, glad Tiffy won.
Triple Threat was fucking dope. A lot of great wrestling 101 in there. Could have been more exciting, Punk was dragging ass as per usual, but the end was masterful.

Night Two:
All hail the queen of the sky! IYO! Sorry Laz, I popped for her. It was a great match, Iyo is a cutie pootootie that busted her ass, the other two don't need it.
Drew vs. Priest was pretty good. Both have done better, and I loved Mac's "Bored at Work 2.0", that guy is gold. Felt like it could have been on another PLE though.
Dirty Dom winning, don't get me started. Beautiful. Top 10 Mania moment for me, I couldn't believe the crowd popped like I did.
Happy for Joe Hendry, Randy didn't bury him too hard.
AJ and Logan did what I expected. Both have done better though.
Chick tag match was bullshit, fine with Becky coming back but not at pushing Bayley to the side and taking the strap off Liv.
Stone Cold's segment would have been funny if he didn't almost run over and kill a fan. Yeah you won't be seeing the wrestlers doing those stunts anymore.

And then:
Cena winning... Yay! That's all the good that can be said. Just balls mahoney and axl rotten. Slow and sluggish, Travis Scott's dumbass, no Rock, finish fell flat worse than Jey/Gunther because the heel won. Not the way I would have done things at all.

But, the golden trifecta won, so 11/10.

Lmao at The Rock being absent. I knew he wasn't gonna be there and I haven't watched wrestling in 20 years. Honestly I don't even think he's deserving of being in the Hall of Fame. He basically exists to get fans hopes up and then vanishes for five years with no explanation. He is the deadbeat Dad of pro wrestling. If you're only ever gonna make guest appearances, don't show up at all. I've had this issue with him since he first did Scorpion King (which I've never even seen). It's the same old song and dance with him. Rock returns, shakes up a storyline, leaves everyone hanging in the middle of it and isn't heard from for years.

He's overrated as fuck, probably the most overrated guy in wrestling. He spent 5 years full time, bounced out for Hollywood and as only done these sporadic spots ever since, minus that short feud with Cena a decade ago. They need to stop inserting him into these storyline knowing damn well he has no desire to commit to it. Also, just to clarify how a "Board Member" works. Dwayne does have a seat on the board of TKO Group Holdings, Inc. (the parent company of WWE) However this does not give him special authority or whatever people are spinning online lol. He gets away with this bullshit because Nick Khan and Paul Levesque allow it! He's a fucking narcissist as far as I am concerned, he does not care about wrestling he only cares about himself and making himself more wealthy or whatever inflates his own ego. Hence why the match with Roman will never happen because he will refuse to put his younger cousin over. I wish he would just stay the fuck away tbh!

Becky as well, I can't fucking stand her overrated anorexic looking self. I'm not a Bayley fan but what they did here was fucking wrong. Becky is old news, same with all the so called four horsewomen. It's time to move beyond them.

And sorry Reign, I cannot agree about Iyo. She's good in the ring but her promo skills are terrible and she's just not that exciting otherwise.
But all I can hope for is that we get a Rhea vs. Bianca singles match, which is what we should of had last night!

It's almost always the problem with Asians and Mexicans, the language/cultural barrier means they suck at promos. Even Rey Mysterio is shitty. They still gotta get some love.

True, but they are building to Bianca and Rhea. Might be SummerSlam though. Take in mind this is the first ever 2 night SummerSlam, they are gonna have to have Mania level matches in the pocket for it, just to sell out let alone hype. They barely sold out this Mania.
