Few early thoughts, which we can flesh out as the actual plan fills in with Congress

It seems to be aimed at fucking over small businesses, the poor, and the people who care about the environment exceptionally well. It’s epic for the wealthy and billionaire class. It will be a windfall for investors and shareholders which will serve a massive one-off dividend.

It then falls apart on any level of detail which seems typical Trump. It’s hard to agree or object to a plan with this many blank spaces and missing pieces. It seems almost certain to explode the deficit. Rand Paul will be pleased.

If you have even a little additional money and you need a new car, does that help? If you are looking at a car, and the payment was $80 a month less, might that help you afford it? Ever know someone who buys a used car, but it is "new" to them? Might some extra money they get to keep that they earned help them?

Never believed in the "trickle down" theory, not everyone invests extra money into business. I don't consider it greedy either if you own a business it's up to you how much you invest into it. It's just far more likely that when people in lower economic brackets get money they spend it strengthening the economy.

Profit drives them and I'm fine with that investors and stockholders want returns on their investment. CEO's making millions of dollars doesn't bother me either it's no different than paying an elite pitcher or quarterback millions of dollars it's perceived value to the company.

$100,000 is not that much for a family depending on where you live especially. Taxes, mortgage, kids school.

Plus some people simply make different choices with their money. One person may choose to invest that money and stick with a cheap car, you know, so they can retire some day.

The corporate tax rate is for competiveness and to keep the money from being channeled to countries with better rates.

For the average family, must of the savings will come from raising the exception amount so you do not pay taxes on the first dollars you earn every year. I think they were talking like $24k for a married couple.

You can't really lower the rate for the lowest earners any more because they do not pay as it is. You can put more people into that category to lower what they pay though.

And if that was the case then 2 things are going to fuck that plan. The territorial tax and the pass through rate.
