3 more days 'till Halloween!

I hope your challenges are going well :)

First day of vacation consisted of a Halloween party. Second day of vacation will consist of cooking puppy's food and prepping frozen burritos for Mark (they stopped selling the ones he likes around here, so I now have to make spicy bean and cheese burritos.) Third day of vacation will consist of binging Stranger Things! :p

Judging by Fincher perfectionism and watching the trailer, I'm pretty sure he appreciates the attention to detail to make it feel like it's from the 60's.

i would hope that "one of the fucking coolest and weirdest movies in a long time" would be more than just aesthetic appeal, but maybe you're right.

That is a grade A analogy.

He must have missed it when they pulled out cell phones, then. I actually had to stop the film and make sure that's what it was. Then I went back to the beginning to see if I missed a date like they'll put on some films, but nope, nothing. I have no fucking clue when it's supposed to take place.

I meant the style, not the time period.

Pretty much got my Jason makeup done (not doing anything under the mask, it interferes with the mask), and just waiting around for friends to show up so I can knock out their makeup. One is going to be a victim, killed by dice. I'm going do have a d4 in his head. He couldn't come up with a costume, so it's a last minute idea I'm throwing together :P

That's what I was thinking.

Halloween party was good. I did not win one of the Costume prizes, but my boy that went as Pennywise that I did the makeup for (that didn't age well during the party, lol) got Best Male Costume, so that's still a sorta win for me :P

If this one guy didn't show up with a dead-on Red Dead Redemption costume, things could've been different though. He took best overall costume. Apparently this guy is a hardcore cosplayer. *shrug*

He should be disqualified. Or run his own race.
