oh okay. i've had that problem as well. i really haven't checked out many podcasts yet, for the same reason. just don't know where to start. so i just gave the joe rogan experience a go, cause of some cool guests. i wish he would have a few horror guys on the show too. but i guess he's just not into that.showa58taro wrote: It’s not that I tried and disliked. I haven’t gotten to the point where I know where to go or what to listen to. I can’t get that first step of getting into podcasts. That’s the trouble, not knowing the starting point. I hear people talk about them. And I think that I’d like the stuff they talk about. But no clue how to do that. There’s the challenge.
Is there a podcast library or something you can go to as a start?zombie wrote:oh okay. i've had that problem as well. i really haven't checked out many podcasts yet, for the same reason. just don't know where to start. so i just gave the joe rogan experience a go, cause of some cool guests. i wish he would have a few horror guys on the show too. but i guess he's just not into that.showa58taro wrote: It’s not that I tried and disliked. Head is into his podcasts, isn't he? A thread might make more sense and let people try.zombie wrote:if you have spotify, (free or not) there is a section for podcasts. it's a little small but it's there. i don't know of anywhere else, but i'm sure it exists. i mostly just bump around youtube.
we could do our own thread for that kind of thing. just recommend a bunch of podcasts to each other.
That's hilarious dude
you watch movies on youtube, no? spotify doesn't seem so much different, but for music. but purchasing is probably better for artists and such.showa58taro wrote:

I do not currently have Spotify. My music tends to be what I have purchased, and what Swedish Radio plays.
You listen to new album?Jason wrote:I'm gonna create a top ten Taylor Swift thread...
you'll do a thread for swift, but not for springsteen. interesting.Jason wrote:I'm gonna create a top ten Taylor Swift thread...
I'm doing just a quick top ten for Taylor. I was gonna do a 50-banger for Boss with pics of the albums and full detailed descriptions on what each song means to me.zombie wrote:you'll do a thread for swift, but not for springsteen. interesting.Jason wrote:I'm gonna create a top ten Taylor Swift thread...
show them why they should be?Jason wrote:Nobody is into Springsteen enough.
Good to see you back, my man. Problem with the politics section is that it's got a bunch of us competitive sport fanatic meathead types, it's just generally what's ingrained in us when we hit the ground running. It's nothing personal. And as such, such things are a lot more carefree and no big deal when debating Freddy vs Jason or summat, not much real feelings involved there.zombie wrote:maybe i'm ready to come back, i don't know. but a couple people asked about details and stuff for running away. it's just a lot of stuff compounding. personal stuff and all of the hollywood crap and the political situation and arguing almost at each other's throats sometimes. and i think too much about things and i kind of feel like garbage, for a lot of reasons. and i'm not looking for sympathy or anything. just trying to get my mindset across cause, again, some of you asked why.
i feel like i need more conservation, more discussion, and less waiting for the chance to mud sling at each other. i'm kind of over the competition debate style that i've fallen into lately. i don't want to prove myself better than anyone else. (maybe a lot of that is cause i'd lose out)... i'm more feeling like discussing things is more productive, than arguing things. *shrug*
