Just watched the Strangers 2 trailer, think it's obvious they are going more the TCM 2 route. If done right, could be sweet.

so, you're thinking more goofy, over the top? maybe. but definitely looks to be more intense at any rate. hope it doesn't drop the ball.

Nah, more out and about, not confined to a house type of thing. And then maybe over the top.

okay. agreed. it doesn't look to be home invasion, like the first.

Most slashers are in confined spaces in one way or another. Getting things out in the open could be interesting, problem with this one is if it's believable or not, since it's grounded in reality.

i'm thinking something high tension-y, where it maybe starts in a house but goes bigger than that. the synopsis mentions them coming across an abandoned trailer park or something, from what i recall.

Hmm, or maybe it's all confined to the trailer park, and the opening scene of the trailer is a throwaway or even the ending.

i don't know. it could be a book end thing. like they did with the kids coming on the scene in the first. but it looks like it's more than just an ending scene. cause it looks like they're also stalking that same girl with the cop car that she had been in.

Zombs, I want your opinion. Just read this during a smear piece for the Justice League. "Wonder Woman may be one of the most beloved superhero movies of all time; it will be shared and re-watched and talked about for generations."

Is that even remotely true?

It may end up in the pantheon of great moments in cinema, but I think that may be for what it represented, not what it was like to watch.

I just watched it, and I wouldn't wipe my ass with it, let alone re-watch it for generations to come! It was the definition of average, and wayyy too fucking long.

This is insanity, all Disney owned properties get sucked off like no other by the media, and the only female woman property of DC. Coincidence all others by DC get buried? Pfft

It didn’t feel long to me. Strange.

I think DC are struggling for an identity.

wonder woman does get a bit of over hype, among the dceu films. it didn't quite match bvs globally, despite claims to the contrary. but i do think it's the best of the first four. and probably over justice league too, when i have the chance to see that one.

if you were asking my personal opinion, i thought wonder woman was very cool. it'll be one that i watch fairly often, and i'll continue to talk about it, for as long as there is interest here.

Maybe because you were having fun with the daughters or summat? I had important shit to do and it was a running joke that the fucking thing wasn't over yet.

DC is late to the game, is their main problem, imo. I'm in full superhero movie fatigue, and I know plenty of others are too. And while I like DC's darker version of things, now they're going up against a 500 pound gorilla of Disney, and they can't make it budge.

My man, as long as we need female woman empowerment, talk away.

There’s your problem. You didn’t really want to watch it. :P you can happily watch most films of in the right frame of mind. If you were doing it as a chore then it wouldn’t really work. Shame.

They also seem to me to be unsure how to play their best assets in a sensible manner.
