PS4 Discussion

I bought it Thanksgiving night for Black Friday. I am impressed with this system. I am thoroughly stoked about the headphone jack option in the controller most of all. RE7 with HQ headphones on an HD TV is gonna be too SWEEEEET. Now I really can't wait for The Last of Us II to come out. In the meantime, I've got The Last of Us remastered, RE7, The Evil Within 2, Until Dawn, Firewatch and Uncharted 4 to satisfy any gaming craze I might go through. More than enough to play before The Last of Us II. I also still need to play the first Evil Within and all Uncharteds, too.

Until Dawn was very cool I'm hoping they make another one of those.

I've heard it's like a horror version of Heavy Rain.

I don't think it's quite as involved as Heavy Rain was, so less tedious to me, which makes it a smoother game run in my opinion.
But I think I like the story from Heavy Rain better.

Heavy Rain was a pretty ace story. I'm gonna play Until Dawn for the horroryness, most of all.

Until Dawn was a pretty cool story too. I might've enjoyed some deaths a little more than I should cause the characters were annoying though.

Why did you bastards not tell me that PlayStation charges for online play, now?!

I believe it was discussed, actually. One of the complaints about PS4.

Thought it was common knowledge.

We also talked about it extensively.

My boy got South Park Stick of Truth said it's one of the best games he's ever played so I'm going to be getting that.

Agree. The sequel, the fractured but whole, is also immense. Huge fan of both.

Last of Us Remastered was solid, and one of my all time favorites. I tried out RE7 but just couldn't get into it, but loved most of the others up to that point.
Evil Within 2 is an improvement in some ways over Evil Within. It's not quite as linear like EW was; more open world, but not overly so like say compared to Fallout 3 and on. Decent upgrading as well makes it fairly balanced, but IMO it falls short of Evil Within in overall tension and difficulty, and I did like them both.
The 3 i'm waiting on the most this year is Last of Us 2, Far Cry 5, and Metro Exodus.

Resident Evil 0-4 were the best. I'm on 7, and I like it, but I'm not hooked. Absolutely better than 5-6, though. Terrible games.

Next month Far Cry 5 comes out and that series has never let me down.

Getting around to Resident Evil 7.
Waiting to "copy application."
One of my biggest peeves with modern games, they don't just fucking start when you put the disc/cartridge in, it all has to download shit and suck up room.

This feels like it was intended to be a whole different horror game.

It's gonna be creepier if you suck at the controls, too. :p
