Definitely makes it exciting for me. Man, the Cubs are what is surprising.Jason wrote:That entire division is still anyone's division.

Tell your Reds to suck 100 wangs, J-Mac. They love to pack it in every series against the Dodgers before the games even start.

I already did, lol! I can't remember such a streaky team as this year's Reds. We win 6 straight, then lose 6 straight. We win 4, lose 5.Jason wrote:Tell your Reds to suck 100 wangs, J-Mac. They love to pack it in every series against the Dodgers before the games even start.

Lucky for you the season is like 200 games long. What's a 6 game losing streak in that mess.Jmac Attack wrote:I already did, lol! I can't remember such a streaky team as this year's Reds. If you repeat it enough times, you might convince yourself.

Re: MLB: 2017
I watch baseball. I'm already convinced.
Who is your boy? Trout? He is too busy having surgery for a broken finger nail while Arenado continues to do GOAT things on both sides of the ball.

Pretty sure we already talked about this, but yeah Trout was having his best season yet prior to injury. Harper would be #2 for me.

Re: MLB: 2017
This year, Aaron Judge has been the best player in baseball though.
Arenado's .344 OBP is not great. Good thing he's been incredible with the glove.

Re: MLB: 2017
Trout and Harper are the fun names that everybody likes to talk about. Harper is better than Trout, Nolan is better than both. Aaron Judge is gonna be a mother fucker. Media will forget about Trout and push this dude, now.
Also, lol. Trout's WAR is always so amazing, but they have been just as good or better without him Weird. It's like WAR doesn't work or something.

WAR doesn't measure what you think it measures.
Not removing until John Elway is fired.
Re: MLB: 2017
It measures retardedness. It's a "what if" stat used by sports media to push the players they want. Useless stat.

Re: MLB: 2017
Example: If every other position on the field elevates their WAR while he's gone, you negate the lost value of Trout's replacement. Still a team game.

Useless except to all 30 MLB teams...Jason wrote:It measures retardedness. It's a "what if" stat used by sports media to push the players they want. Useless stat.
So you think they artificially pump up the value of certain guys? Dude, send an e-mail to the MLB commissioner. You've just discovered one of the great conspiracies in all of sports. Funny that it's more plausible to you than you just not liking it.

Re: MLB: 2017
It's pretty stupid and a totally ineffective way of measuring talent. Mashing shit together to form a what if scenario is flat out retarded.Headhunter wrote:Useless except to all 30 MLB teams...Jason wrote:It measures retardedness.
