Damn, looks like Black Panther really is going to kick a lot of ass this weekend. Seeing it tomorrow, but still wasn't expecting these numbers.

I find it funny you chime in online as I'm writing a segment that involves San Antonio in my graphic novel, lol.

How do you not expect record shattering numbers from every super hero flick that comes out? I expect every new one to surpass the previous. :p

By Justice League and Spider-Man: Homecoming not shattering numbers, and even Justice League bombing financially. Marvel Solo outtings are also not exactly record breakers, especially for "B" characters. A couple months ago, it was expected Black Panther would only do about as good as Dr Strange and Ant-Man, which weren't impressive numbers either.

You gotta think libs will go in record numbers to support the oppressed black guy. Everything is political, unfortunately. I wish I could just watch movies and be blind to that shit.

It’s not a very liberal film.

Could be, but doesn't work for what I'm doing.

I haven't said much regarding story, but I'll say this involves a group, run by demons using human hosts, along with ghouls, retrieving the heart of their demon lord, which was buried underneath a rock tile in The Alamo. They need it to revive him. They aren't being subtle anymore about their existence, hence the slaughtering of tourists and security.

Sweet~ Oh yeah , you can't even take pictures in that place.. and security is a joke. The garden area behind the Alamo is pretty amazing for being in the middle of cement city.

Still good and still fun , dating different people has given me the opportunity to really see much more of San Antonio than I expected. Although I did miss the Goo Goo Dolls last night which I am kinda pissy about :P
