Painkillers have helped tremendously at times. Haven't abused them yet, though.

I take it back. I guess it's considered abuse when I take them without any pain. I just don't allow myself to build a tolerance to them. I'll take them periodically, not daily, and never demand a doctor refill it.

I'm certainly not addicted to them, as I've not allowed myself to reach that point, but the temporary relief and euphoria is the only time I ever feel something.

Get yourself a bag of "Pot" I bet it rekindles your love of music, movies, food, television, and nature. Man I miss pot :(

Doubt it. Painkillers provide only a temporary relief. Doubt pot could do much better.

Ok. How much better is a marijuana buzz than a beer buzz?... Or are they similar?...

Two totally different buzzes I myself prefer the weed buzz because it heightens my senses instead of dulling them like booze so I can do more things. The number one thing I miss about pot is how it effects listening to music it is hard to explain how cerebral it becomes. It's almost impossible to describe.

I ask because I would estimate a buzz from the painkillers I've taken are about 50x better than any beer buzz I've ever had.

I've had a painkiller buzz it's just not for me I would consider a THC buzz a 100 times better and a 1000 times safer.

Just got a massive wave of guilt out of nowhere. The guy who hit me on my motorcycle is already going to have his rates go up (pending liability... I could still get screwed). Is he going to be affected by the legal claim of injury that I talked about yesterday? If so, I want to back out of it..

Don't back out. The reason for so many motorcycle accidents is because of douchebags that don't drive properly. Fucker should pay, and have this lesson learned *grips fist*

This and that's why you have insurance it's not like your lying about your injuries.

Maybe it’s just getting old, but I can’t see why we’d all encourage Jason to take up recreational drug use as a problem solving tool.

i wouldn't encourage him to pick it up, but i also wouldn't tell him to give it up if he did pick it up himself and found that it worked to help with his depression.

I see no problem with using marijuana to ease stress, depression , pain or just for enjoyment purposes as long as it's used responsibly.
