On way to see Avengers: Infinity War.
Hulk better not die.
It's an automatic F if he dies.

not that it means anything necessarily, but no announced sequels after spiderman homecoming part 2. captain marvel and antman and wasp are supposed to take place before infinity war. but again, not that it means anything. i haven't seen the movie too. so i'll avoiding as best as i can, until i do.Foo wrote:Does it matter who dies? What could be awesome is basically ruined by the meta marketing the studios do. When you know so many characters have announced sequels coming out, how can their death possibly have any gravity?
Now you are in a situation where killing them is even worse, because when you bring them back, it shows nothing you saw is of consequence.
They have said Dr. Strange 2, Black Panther 2, GotG 3, and Black Widow are all in development.zombie wrote:not that it means anything necessarily, but no announced sequels after spiderman homecoming part 2. captain marvel and antman and wasp are supposed to take place before infinity war. but again, not that it means anything. i haven't seen the movie too. so i'll avoiding as best as i can, until i do.Foo wrote:Does it matter who dies? Tiff was pretty cool (changed her name to Crazypyro when we started original HMF).Jmac Attack wrote:Man.....I miss Reign. Dude always gave me a laugh. Even when he was giving me shit lol. If it wasn't for him and Zombs, when I first joined, I wouldn't have stayed a member. They both pmd me when Junior was attacking me from my very first post. I miss a lot of people from the board.
Are there any members you guys miss? I'd like to hear about people I didn't get to know but y'all did. (Pre-2010)
They're spoiling their own movies by letting you know who doesn't die. :pFoo wrote:They have said Dr. Strange 2, Black Panther 2, GotG 3, and Black Widow are all in development.zombie wrote:not that it means anything necessarily, but no announced sequels after spiderman homecoming part 2. captain marvel and antman and wasp are supposed to take place before infinity war. but again, not that it means anything. i haven't seen the movie too. so i'll avoiding as best as i can, until i do.Foo wrote:Does it matter who dies? and solo dceu batman has been announced and retracted and lost directors and replaced directors, and put on hold how many times? announcing something is in some level of production does not mean that it is actually official. there was even an inhumans movie officially as part of the mcu roster, and it got ditched. so until something is actually official and filming, hold off?Foo wrote:They have said Dr. I can acknowledge a little bit of hypocrisy on my part, there. The quality of the film and the road that is built to get to the end of the movies is generally well-thought out, brilliant and entertaining. I can sit through 24 Bond flicks because the dialogue is intelligent and almost none of those movies are mindless CGI/action/blow-stuff-up crap. At least when you reach the super-mega-actiony part of Bond flicks, the car chases are actual car chases, not engineered through computers and crap. When I watch a superhero movies and the superhero is flying through the air shooting lasers or whatever, all I can picture is an actor on a string doing yoga.zombie wrote:also, how many movies has james bond not died in? and he's been in every single one. it's your guys' fault for thinking that death of a main character is the only way to have significant stakes.
so then, it makes no never mind for you, who lives or who dies, or what the stakes are, cause you were already not invested from the go. (and i suspect that is true of foo, as well) but others are.Jason wrote:I can acknowledge a little bit of hypocrisy on my part, there. I was invested in 2008 when Iron Man/Dark Knight/Incredible Hulk came out. Those were fun to watch. Then it became the same old tired crap after so many movies. If the main girl is cute enough is when I decide I'll see it or not. :pzombie wrote:so then, it makes no never mind for you, who lives or who dies, or what the stakes are, cause you were already not invested from the go.
