After a night of sleeping on it.......I rated Sorority House Massacre with a B-. Its a terrible movie, but is exactly what I would have wanted to watch as a teen. I really enjoyed it. B- for now with a bullet.

Has Netflix been leaving the watermarks for titles up lately on their movies? The Devil Below has had it up for over half an hour now and it's annoying. It's subtle, but there.

Meh. The 2nd movie is WAY better.

I'm gonna try to grade The Devil Below fairly, but I was pretty distracted trying to fix this title-watermark issue. I wound up seeing it when I tested on other movies and then still saw it on the main menu page, still displaying "The Devil Below" so I had to completely unplug the TV for a few minutes to see if it went away. It did, but that was a fucking chore.

It's mostly because it felt nostalgic. I'm gonna try to watch the 2nd tonight.

Updated my list. Watch five movies, all from five different countries. Sort of fun.

Havok, I had two questions about your list:

1) I've also seen GoatSucker, and while it wasn't great, I thought it had heart and an interesting twist. What did you think of it?

2) I've not seen Angus Valley Farms, but I have seen another movie by Jeremy Isbell called Curse of Halloween (2006) - so my question is, was Angus Valley Farms as painful as I think it was? :P

While I'm very impressed Raccoon Valley only cost $175 bucks to make and it looked the way it did, it could've still done more with it. Like, I can only imagine how much farther they could've taken the concept had they had a real budget to play with, so ironically it got quarantined within its own limitations. The makeup of the infected was pretty poor, I could've done better with Spirit Halloween makeup, but that's really where the limit of the budget showed on camera.

It's a pretty good exercise on how far you can stretch your budget these days. I did laugh when I saw how many credits Turner Clay gave himself, he basically did most of the production work himself lol. Writing, directing, production, scoring, editing, all that shit.

Checking out The Fanatic with John Travolta.

I kinda hope it's as bad as its reputation lol

I'm questioning if this is actually horror or not. Prime had it in their horror section, but IMDB doesn't have the genre tag. I'm gonna finish it, but I'm probably gonna put an asterisk
