Re: November 20th 2024

Day one of going without anything mint-related that I can inhale, to see if the mild anaphylactic shit going on means I have an allergy to inhaled mint oils now, seems successful as the general neck swelling seems to have eased up compared to yesterday. I've been trying to figure out what the hell'...

I do have that. That's a steelbook? It's just a dvd.

Re: November 20th 2024

I have several hundred dvd's, dunno the exact number. Last time I bought one, blockbuster was still around and netflix hadn't started streaming. So nothing newer than early 2000's. I don't even know what a steelbook is.

Stream. A group of killers in a hotel stream their kills for a gambling site. Lots of talent involved in this; Jeffrey Combs, Danielle Harris, Tony Todd, Dee Wallace, Bill Moseley, David Howard Thornton, Felissa Rose, Mark Holton, Tim fucking Curry, and Damien Leone on effects. Several of those are ...

Did you like the movies? If yes, give it a shot. If no, then no. I haven't gotten around to the films, so I don't plan on watching the show.

Azrael. Interesting, I guess, but it didn't do much for me. Maybe because I'm ignorant of religious stuff, but I just didn't get it.

Re: November 15th 2024

I really really really hope Tyson can rock this chump but I can't watch it. I loathe the Paul brothers, so it would be nice to see Tyson beat some sense into one of them. Unfortunately, it's almost a guarantee that he's been paid to lose. Would be funny if he said fuck it and kicked his ass anyway.

strange darling didn't work for me, on the first viewing. i may have to watch again, at some point. maybe i wasn't in the right mood or something. everyone else seems to love it. :P I thought it was just ok. Didn't see the point in the out of order storytelling and the plot itself wasn't really any...

Re: November 14th 2024

Honorable mentions for worst horror films:

Ax 'Em
August Underground and its sequels
Anything Uwe Boll spit out

I know there's more, but can't think of any at the moment.

Pretty sure this was proven to be a nonscandal like 2 years ago? Dropped in 2022, brought back in 2023. The investigation was still going on, but Gaetz just resigned, which means the committee lost jurisdiction to continue its probe. They were supposedly about to release their report in the next co...

Re: November 13th 2024

Ooof. I will say I'm glad I watched Skinamarink. Because I have a new crown for Worst Movie I've ever seen. For me, it's still Begotten. Skinamarink had good atmosphere, a semblance of a plot, and built tension(without any payoff, but still). Begotten had one interesting scene at the beginning, the...

He uploads about once every two weeks. It sucks, but it's just one guy making it, so it's understandable.

Re: Recently Watched Movies

Krazy House. This did not go as expected. I thought there'd be more gore and horror. Instead, it's just absurdity. There are three aspect ratios: one for the show, one for when Nick is losing his mind, and one for real life. A bit weird, but not off-putting. It's exceedingly slow, to the point where...

Re: November 11th, 2024

I just don't have the time to commit to longer games these days. Used to love a good rpg that would take 40+ hours. I've been playing Castlevania: COTM for the past two weeks. I have less than four hours of actual gameplay in that time.

Highly recommend watching all the videos(there's not 409). It's a series based on life after humans, told via tv/radio shows.

Re: November 11th, 2024

Now my favorite Chevy from memory might actually be Nothing But Trouble, maybe it's the horror/black comedy aspect but I remember that movie being dope! And I remember that being Aykroyd's baby and he's the real genius of those crop of SNL guys, imo. Nothing But Trouble is great despite Chevy. He's...
