Re: January 30th 2025

I wanted to make a joke about Tonya Harding suddenly showing up again, but apparently people can't handle that type of talk anymore.

Re: Trumpster Fire 2025

Trump got rid of the aviation safety committee, a week later: black hawk helicopter crashes into a passenger jet. It's like how he got rid of the pandemic response team just before covid happened. The timing couldn't be better.

It's all about buzzwords and using them to rile people up, not about reason. Words like nazi, terrorist, communist, etc. are all used to mean "someone I don't like".

Re: President Donald J. Trump Inauguration Celebration

So you want to replace paying taxes with...higher prices on everything? Tariffs are just another form of tax. Corporations pay it, but it's then put on the consumers in higher prices. The rich get richer and the poor get dead.

Re: President Donald J. Trump Inauguration Celebration

What would replace taxes? Taxes pay for alot of shit people take for granted, and that shit'll need funding somehow if it's not taxes. For example, property taxes pay for local shit like cops, fire fighters, schools, road upkeep, etc. I completely understand wanting to do away with taxes, because se...

Agreed, Contact sucked. The only good thing about it was John Hurt being the crazy rich guy.

Re: President Donald J. Trump Inauguration Celebration

On the Trump/Bass thing: Trump said people told him it would take eighteen months to get things started, Bass said that's not the case, but he kept repeating it anyway. She then said it would take about a week, so he complained about that being too long. A week to clean up all that shit seems reason...

The korean film is a horror movie. Has nothing to do with the Poitier one, just happened to share the name.

I'll believe it when I see it. There has been talk of a Labyrinth sequel for ages, so I expect this to go nowhere.

I don't hate it but it's definitely not on par with the first one. It was more campy and just not my speed. The Hulk Hogan cameo was fun though. :P Dante only agreed to make Gremlins 2 if he was allowed to do whatever he wanted. That's why it's kinda batshit compared to the first one. He was let of...

i will make you all into fans of movie musicals. I like some musicals(Labyrinth and A Goofy Movie for example), but most musicals overdo it. It's just song after song after song. I'm here for the film, not for the song and dance numbers. One every now and then is fine, but it's usually too much. Ev...
