The Wheel of Time. I read the books awhile back and hated most of them. The first three and last three were good, but the other nine were mostly a slog to get through. With that in mind, I have no idea why I'm watching this. I think they made the characters a bit less bitchy and all around less cuntish, which is nice, but most are still kinda shit. They introduced some new sub-plots for some fucking reason(namely changing shit with Perrin, such as giving him a wife and putting him in a love triangle with other characters, instead of giving him ptsd from killing some dudes like in the books). I mean, there's only fifteen fucking books to pull shit from, so I guess they needed to invent things to fill the gaps. It's ok so far, but I don't see it lasting fifteen seasons(if that's the plan). They could easily skip a few books and not miss anything, which would help. The fans might be able to keep it alive long enough to finish, but I don't have my hopes up. It's something to watch, I guess, but unless you're a fan of the books, it might be a good idea to skip it. Though if they make it to the Sanderson books, that should be some good shit.

Cobra Kai has been having the best consistent cliffhangers at the end of each season, holy fucking shit. I've already watched season 4 twice over the weekend.

And I'm so glad Terry Silver has gone from cartoon villain to 3-dimensional villain, without feeling like it's a different character. I especially love the excuse for the over-the-topness of KK3's motive: cocaine

So I finished Season 1 of the KAI, and holy shit balls. I can't believe we have been bamboozled and LIED to for over 30 years. Karate Kid is nothing but romanticized hollywood trash, we're now finally getting the truth with the Kai, and Johnny was done dirty. LaRusso is scum and deserved every inch of that dick in his mouth, you son of a bitch.
