Those Who Walk Away. I dunno what the fuck is going on with this movie, but it's weird. It's about a dude that's seeing shit going on a date with a girl he met on a dating app. He's seeing shit, she's fucking with him, now she's telling him to point a gun at her. This is supposed to be a haunted house film, but it's just weird shit so far. Also, I'm thirty minutes in and it's been a one shot so far, so even the direction is weird. Was expecting to be bored since ghost films are generally garbage, but at this point, it feels like the haunted house is an afterthought.

Ten minutes later and they're at the house and I'm pretty sure I know how this is going to play out. Subtlety is a lost art.

*Edit: Nevermind. I thought it was going to be a twist, but it just went right into it.

Prey. I'm about thirty minutes in and it's a bit silly. Lots of badly done cg animals, the main character is just the "I want to prove myself" trope, and now she's made her axe into a kunai spear a la Scorpion from Mortal Kombat. Meanwhile, the predator has killed a snake and a wolf, even taking their heads as trophies like it was something noteworthy. I dunno, I just don't see this going well.
