Said no one ever.Jigsaw wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 6:04 pm I have to say, it may not be the type of movie for many here, but after watching I Saw the TV Glow for the second time, I find it quite the experience, and while not great in a traditional sense, certainly a very moving film at times, with stellar ideas strewn in.

Sorry I hurt your feelings because I think it's better than The Shining, brah.Reign in Blood wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 6:07 pmSaid no one ever.Jigsaw wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 6:04 pm I have to say, it may not be the type of movie for many here, but after watching I Saw the TV Glow for the second time, I find it quite the experience, and while not great in a traditional sense, certainly a very moving film at times, with stellar ideas strewn in.

You jumping on my alien drip I see. I might have to do vampires next.
Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
I made a big post about that one and Longlegs being my two favorites of the year. I lean toward Late Night though.

To be honest, I couldn't remember what big horror movies you liked, so I just went with one. Point still stands.Reign in Blood wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 6:13 pmOutside of Jack and the cinematography, I'm not big on the Shining, bruv bruv.Jigsaw wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 6:09 pmSorry I hurt your feelings because I think it's better than The Shining, brah.Reign in Blood wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 6:07 pmSaid no one ever.Jigsaw wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 6:04 pm I have to say, it may not be the type of movie for many here, but after watching I Saw the TV Glow for the second time, I find it quite the experience, and while not great in a traditional sense, certainly a very moving film at times, with stellar ideas strewn in.
Finished The Eye Creatures (1967) about twenty minutes ago. Would not recommend.

Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
It's probably been more than ten years since I've seen Alien and Aliens. And I never watched the sequels after that. So it'll feel fresh. I liked Alien well enough but felt it was overhyped every time I watched it. I think it's been long enough that I'll have a fresh take.Reign in Blood wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 6:16 pmYessum, space horror in general I guess.Jason wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 6:11 pmYou doing an Alien movie marathon or something?Reign in Blood wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 6:10 pmYou jumping on my alien drip I see. Finishing off my night with The Return of the Vampire (1943). Been meaning to watch this for ages, so happy I'm finally getting to it.
