So I just got done with "that scene" that made me hyped enough to buy the movie and it was pretty creepy and suspenseful. Movie is kind of dragging overall though. Never really loved Asian horror but the atmosphere in some of the movies can't be denied.
now you can watch the american remake to see if it holds up?
Is that the one with Kristen Bell? If so I've seen it and I don't remember anything about it except thinking it sucked.

I'm thinking about implementing a full decimal point grading system to go for a more accurate ranking than stars or a letter grade. A 6.0 and a 7.2 is a big leap in grading but they translate to a 3 and a 3.5 star rating which doesn't translate the leap in grading.

Two of my new watches were foreign films and they are each my favorite and least favorite so far.
When Evil Lurks hovers somewhere in the high 8s or low 9s.
pulse is your least favorite with that score? you're making out better than i am.
The other two new watches are Substance and Night Game.
substance was even your best of the decade for a day or so? or was late night with the devil still above it?
Late Night with the Devil, Longlegs and possibly Barbarian are all better than Substance for me. Though I also haven't seen a ton from the 2020s. Some glaring oddities brought Substance down kinda hard but it had the most potential besides When Evil Lurks. Nothing Substance could have done to be better than that one, for me.

I liked X and Pearl ok and haven't seen The First Omen quite yet.
