Updated my list.

Finished off the night with I Was a Teenage Frankenstein (1957), a first watch for me. Honestly, it wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting. Sort of had fun with it.

Andrew Robinson's acting is really underrated in this, so effortlessly switching from Larry to Frank.

Trick 'r Treat really has become comfort food over the years. Feels wrong not to watch it every October, imo.

Watching Joe Bob's presentation of Children of the Corn from the Nightmareathon (which I went to bed just beforehand). I'm surprised he likes it so much, at least more than Cujo.

Onto Basket Case 3. Got room for one more after that and I am open to suggestions.

Kinda feel like revisiting an old classic that is in need of a rewatch. I'm kinda debating between Alien and Jaws at the moment. Been probably ten years or more since I've seen either of those.

I feel like that's an insult to What About Bob.

I fucked around too long and only ended up watching Basket Case 3.

Moved Sacred Deer up to a D+. There were things that were funny even though I can't be sure they were supposed to be but I think they were. It's still stupid shit I would never watch again. So out of the 3 movies I've hated 2019 Black Christmas was the only one I couldn't give at least a D+

As far as schlocky 50's sci-fi horror goes this one is decent and better than I expected

I have to say, I tried watching that once, and never got a horror vibe from it. Guess I'll try again at some point in the future.

The House of the Cuckoo Birds (1965) wasn't great, but I enjoyed the atmosphere and setting. Decent climax, likely inspired by Psycho, I imagine. Nice proto-slasher.

A living element that eats energy and will eventually destroy the planet is actually pretty genius

all you need is death is great at building intrigue and atmosphere. definitely holding my interest, but i'm not exactly sure what's going on. maybe it will all come together and resolve itself in the last half hour. :P
