I mean if you’re a fan of Margaret Qualley or Andie McDowell there’s a lot of nudity and skimpy thong shots of her to enjoy. But it fits well into the classic gore overload horror I really like. Would recommendReign in Blood wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2024 5:20 pmJason has seen it 18 times already. It’s got a good goofball factor I b was not expecting, with a toon of body dysmorphic gore. Feels like some on here might appreciate it.

Giallo day here. Have five gialli lined up (three new watches, two rewatches), and starting off with the ever-classic 6 donne per l'assassino (Blood and Black Lace).
I'm pretty sure I usually watch this English dubbed, because there's a plot point I miss out on when I go with subtitles, but to stay authentic to the Italian I'll be hearing all day, I'm going with subtitled.

Here's one reason:
When Peggy's reading Isabella's diary, for some reason, what she's reading doesn't have subtitles. Had to switch over to the dubbed version to understand what the diary entry was about.
Diary was burned shortly thereafter, but something I'll keep an eye out for.

Next up, the somewhat obscure 1975 The Skin Under the Claws (or La pelle sotto gli artigli).

Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
I've only seen the American cut of Black Sabbath. Can't say I love it. I always wondered if the original Italian print would help much, but I've not of yet seen it. Of the three stories, I honestly only particuarly loved one, so throwing them in another order might not do a ton for me. *shrugs*

Would like to get to 100 but cutting it very close.
Movie #72: Evil Dead Rise (2023).
Least favorite of the bunch. Not a whole lot I liked about this movie, but I did love the end of the opening scene and the text of the movie rising up over the hills.

This, to be precise...
Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
starting evil dead rise and then going in reverse order.
Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
have to say i don't exactly like the tease of the evil dead force being just the flight path of a drone.

I might have to pause here and there, so we might get synced up at some point. Coincidentally I started the movie just before the 10:00 hour (your time). So I'm 20 minutes in.
