2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
or i could be wrong. it is a while after they put linda to bed, that she shows sign of possession. but shelly still did first, before a wound unless the glass from the window hit her and we just didn't see the cut. again you wanted me to. it is fun to speculate. i just hope everyone else can look past and not get annoyed.
Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
good news is that i think i'll be able to get my bridget fonda film fix in tonight, after i've finished this one up.
Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
Probably a happy coincidence with a lot of stuff. A low budget horror flick shot in the woods probably didn't intend to go super deep with rules for possession.zombie wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2024 6:56 pm or i could be wrong. it is a while after they put linda to bed, that she shows sign of possession. but shelly still did first, before a wound unless the glass from the window hit her and we just didn't see the cut. again you wanted me to. it is fun to speculate. i just hope everyone else can look past and not get annoyed.

yeah, rules are made up as they go along. even the name of the book is different between films. it is still fun to look into the film deeper than they intended it to be, from time to time.Jason wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2024 7:03 pmProbably a happy coincidence with a lot of stuff. It's exactly what you think it is and does an even lamer job compared to The First Omen.

There's no shortage of one-liners in Dr. Giggles and they're all pretty top notch.

Thought I noticed the guy who played Chase in New Nightmare as the guy who gets Jada popcorn in Scream 2, but IMDB would not confirm this cameo.

I love the little detail that you can tell it's Mickey most of the time, because his Ghostface is a lefty.

Did I not watch Top Gun enough to understand that Derek's cringe (intentionally) singing scene is a reference specifically to Top Gun? I don't remember that Partridge Family song used at all in TG.

Finishing off the night with the easy-going (yet quite solid, I'd argue) House (William Katt movie, not the Japanese one).

I suggested when watching the original that I always assumed the demons got in through a cut or a wound. Zomb trying to apply to every movie and yelling at me when it doesn't happen.DancesWithWerewolves wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2024 9:40 pm...looking for consistency in the Evil Dead series?
