I have them on the PlayStation.
Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
werewolf in a girls' dormitory was pretty good. i guess i'll guess i'll go for the probably considerably less good werewolf in a women's prison, next.
Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
I have two DVD copies of Near Dark. PS4 didn't recognize one of the discs. Luckily it recognized the other one (barely, after making a shit load of noise). Not sure if the PS4 is going to shit or just having problems with certain DVDs. Had this problem several times but only with DVD, never with bluray
Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
Near Dark does not have a proper blu ray release, let alone a bitchin steelbook. Needs remedied immediately before Disney gets their hands on it and only makes it available for streaming and edits the movie to look like Twilight.
Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
who does have the rights to near dark? it deserves a big special edition 4k!

They already did that with that one cover release, fuckers.
Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
That was my first copy of the DVD. And that also happens to be the one the PS4 didn't want to read. Lol.Reign in Blood wrote: ↑Wed Oct 30, 2024 10:29 amThey already did that with that one cover release, fuckers.
Literally had to open up the unwrapped superior copy.

How is Near Dark somehow even better than I remember?

Re: 2024 October Challenge Discussion Thread
You'll hate me for this, but I primarily use streaming services (Amazon Prime, Paramount Plus, and Peacock - technically I have MAX also, but their horror selection sucks). I have DVD's, I sometimes watch full movies on YouTube, and other times I use streaming sites of a less legit nature (though I do this less and less because I get too distracted trying to watch something on my computer).
For the past 25 movies or so, they've almost solely been from Amazon Prime, with a few exceptions on Peacock.
I'd love to have a large physical collection, but I barely have $100 of savings, so that's not likely to happen unless I suddenly get a rich family member and they suddenly die.

You ever see either Werewolves on Wheels or The Werewolf of Washington? Might be some good contenders.

If anyone ever wants to make a "Worst 15 Horror Films from the 1990's" list, please give this movie a watch, because it's got to be a conteder.
