republicans are fine with calling names to opposition voters. republicans are fine with destroying shit when you disagree. republicans are fine with blocking free speech when it's something they don't want to hear. republicans are fine with forcing race and gender onto issues where it doesn't need to be.

so i guess they at least maybe have the border on democrats, as it relates to what turns off the average person.

i think they successfully made the democrats seem crazy far left to a lot of people. i think they successfully sold their candidate as outsider and not corrupt. etc. i think they told a lot of lies in believable enough a way or just hammered it enough times that voters started to buy into it. i think republicans and conservatives have more money and reach behind them than democrats.

i also think that democrats failed in their messaging. and continued to the right on issues, while throwing names at trump, people are moving away from the ineffectiveness of the democrats to fight republicans despite also becoming more conservative. and republican voters are eating up trump's and republican/conservative pundits rhetoric. it's a combination.

probably unrest in the country didn't help as well, and was successfully blamed on democrat leadership.

well, if we continue to disagree and not explain our positions and our points of view, that is where insularity and isolation happens. and that's not okay. :P

This. Most social issues liberals put front and center do no affect every person and family in the country, and furthermore some of those issues are down to personal responsibility. What does affect everyone, in which we are all puppets relying on the government, is shit like the economy and immigration. Everyone feels the inflation and the soaring cost, and the libs didn't really say anything except "But the stocks are looking good!", most people don't play or care about the stock market, their S&P is the grocery store. George Clooney and Jimmy Kimmel don't even do their own shopping, so they wouldn't comprehend that.

He acknowledged the problem that's already more than Harris did until polling said she should stop lying about it.

I don't judge people for how they vote, we all are living different lives and prioritize different things. I've been a Democrat a Republican and an Independent.

My point was if you voted for Harris I'm sure you had your reasons and they do not need justification.

personally, i don't think kamala harris would have won, had she addressed the economy problem. she and biden would have continued to be blamed for them, no matter how hard she tried to claim she had a solution for it.

Of course. Trump is a scumbag, he's not Hitler or Mussolini like some claim, plenty to hate though. Harris had the better debate, attacking his crowd size was perfect, she's definitely kinder etc. But people are gonna vote for their best interest and that's how bad Harris did at selling on what people really cared about. But you're right, unless she completely threw Biden under the bus which by extension would be herself, most people would still be looking at them as the cause because they're sitting on the throne.

indeed. she had a lot to overcome. the roll was not in her favor, so she lost. and now we can look forward to laughing at all of the people who don't like that she lost, or more specifically that trump won, in that other thread. yay politics.

Are you high? Attacking his crowd size was perfect when he overfills stadiums and she can't even fill a high school gym? Had the better debate when it was Trump vs. ABC while she watched from the sideline and recited her rehearsed two lines? She's definitely kinder? What in the blue hell are you smoking?
