I was beginning to wonder if I ordered the same or not because I thought it was cool but didn't think "bad ass" with it.

The director just tries too hard. Secondly, the characters are not even interesting. We are supposed to root for the final girl and in these films I could care less. Speaking of the final girl, she gets killed off then resurrected without any real explanation. (WTF) The clown guy is not an interesting antagonist like Freddy, Jason, or Michael. These films are simply gross with no soul or substance. I love slasher films, but terrifier is not for me.

Definitely, and he's very interesting, and 2 & 3 have revealed a lot of theme and substance for those willing to pay attention. The 1st is definitely a string of events splattered together though (gloriously, but it is shallow).

I watched the first one with my gf and neither of us liked the film. We tried with the second one and just gave up.
Everyone has different taste when it comes to horror (or movies in general).

Basically my thoughts on them. The gore was very good and it's funny at some parts but no soul or substance is a good description.

Don't you have a good size horror collection? Maybe I am thinking of someone else here but if I remember correctly you mentioned owning a decent size horror films collection.

i'm not out to collect steelbooks or anything. sometimes it's just the only way to get it. sometimes it's just too cool to pass up. i am sure that i don't have as many as jason, by a longshot.

also i don't think i have any non-horror, like reign does.
