it is a little bit better than run of the mill. certainly not the scariest i've seen, personally.DancesWithWerewolves wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 10:42 pmShe says Sinster is the scariest movie she's ever seen.zombie wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 9:48 pmwhat are her good horror films?DancesWithWerewolves wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 9:45 pm Oye, a friend from College is trying to come to me to vent about the "bad" horror movies her BF is making her watch. This isn't the first I've heard this. Am I missing something with Sinister? I liked it but seemed pretty run-of-the-mill to me.

I haven't seen it since it came out, so maybe I am missing something due to lack of freshness. My biggest takeaway was the ending and finally noticing how comfortable sweaters looked.zombie wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 7:39 amit is a little bit better than run of the mill. certainly not the scariest i've seen, personally.DancesWithWerewolves wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 10:42 pmShe says Sinster is the scariest movie she's ever seen.zombie wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 9:48 pmwhat are her good horror films?DancesWithWerewolves wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2024 9:45 pm Oye, a friend from College is trying to come to me to vent about the "bad" horror movies her BF is making her watch. Theater etiquette: singing at the movies. To do or not to do?

If this were 1976, I'd be chanting "ROCKY" along with the crowd in the crowded theater as everyone else likely would have been.Reign in Blood wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 2:29 pm Theater etiquette: singing at the movies. To do or not to do?

Cheering in a logical spot towards the end of a movie is understandable. Going and having American Idol rejects singing during your movie for roughly 90 minutes is something else.Jason wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 2:30 pmIf this were 1976, I'd be chanting "ROCKY" along with the crowd in the crowded theater as everyone else likely would have been.Reign in Blood wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 2:29 pm Theater etiquette: singing at the movies. Lol, well yeah. And maybe that's why I say fuck it, let em do it too. It's a musical meant for kids, so let em be happy. And even Rocky Horror Picture Show or something, go for it. Sucks for people watching film first time or whatever, but then go to early showing or summat.Jason wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 2:38 pmI guess I don't really give a shit because I'd never go to theater to see those anyway.Reign in Blood wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 2:35 pmWicked and Moana 2, and thus Disney flicks in general.Jason wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 2:35 pmSinging at the movies though? Imagine adults going to a movie for children and being upset about them singing during it.Reign in Blood wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2024 2:40 pmLol, well yeah.
