The fact people think Rittenhouse is the bad guy and not the vandals who attacked him as he ran away just boggles the mind. There is zero common sense in society at this point.
two wrongs don't make a right. no one defended the other guys. i think you should let this go.
Criticizing one guy to death and basically wishing him the worst life while not criticizing the actual inwardly awful people whatsoever is kind of telling. I'd rather he not went there, but he did, and I'm glad he protected himself against the looters and vandals who violently attacked him for no reason.
telling? go on think whatever you want to think of me. again, maybe let this go?

We’re supposed to shake our fist at a dead guy? He’s fucking dead lmao
You'd rather criticize the guy who rightfully shot him, is where you make no sense here.
I don’t need to wish Kyle a bad life. It’s going to happen. At some point the right wing grifter class will be done with him and he’ll be left with himself.

This has nothing to do with what I think of you. I don't know why you took it personally. What's "telling" is that you would rather criticize the boy who defended himself as opposed the men who attacked him.

He's probably enjoying his quiet life away from the news media who convinced people to go against common sense and be critical of him for his actions and not the people who burned and looted the city.

That’s not what is happening. What is actually happening is he’s soaking up whatever is left of the adulation he doesn’t deserve from the right wing media, bouncing from podcast to TV appearance and so on. He doesn’t turn down any of it. But when that’s gone, he’s just going to be a miserable loser.

i criticized rittenhouse as a vigilante with a gun, because he was. and that's what the focus of the thread was. no need to deep dive into my mindset from other directions.

Wait, what? How'd you guys twist all my shit up. Rittenhouse is a Clint Eastwood-style hero to J, this all fucked now.
Wouldn't go that far, but he took out a bad person and blew the arm up of another. Good on him.
One guy swung a skateboard at him, you said?
Yeah. Imagine the IQ you must have to literally chase a guy who is holding a rifle and running away from you and then trying to kill him with a skateboard.
Seems to me someone just being a good citizen trying to "clean up" things might come with a skateboard. Not a rifle. Rifle made quite the mess.

No need to shield him from accountability by calling him a boy. The second he crossed state lines with an AR-15, he was a man ready to make his mark on the world.

If he came with a skateboard he'd be dead. Good thing he didn't listen to that advice. Lol

I definitely don't see it that way and can't comprehend why anyone would want to stretch the truth so egregiously. He's literally on video running away to the police as he's being chased by two thugs with clearly very bad intentions and he didn't bring his weapon up to fire until he absolutely had to. The instigators and the aggressors were handled, and I'm glad it was them instead of him.

Pussy boy Kyle shouldn’t have crossed state lines with an AR-15. He wanted to be a badass. Millions of Americans think he is one, big win for him. Hope he enjoys the night terrors.

I don't understand this mentality. He went there and was helping the community all day cleaning up garbage amidst the chaos. Never bothered or harassed anybody. Had a rifle at his hip that he never once brought to fire nor otherwise intimidated anyone with until he was attacked for absolutely no reason.
Whether we want to inflate his intentions in our minds to the idea that he wanted to feel cool is irrelevant even if it is true. His actions showed nothing aggressive or violent and was observed cleaning up his community not bothering anyone.

Because he can't fight.
2-on-1 is kind of unfair unless you're armed.
Would have been a great lesson for him.
Turns out the looters and vandals were the ones who learned a lesson that night. Doubt either one has looted or vandalized anything since. Well, we know one of them hasn't.
