What's something like Blade Runner then? Too damn boring to be action or suspense.
boring does not remove something from a genre. :P but i think it's a mix of drama, mystery and suspense.
This is exactly why I alphabetize my collection and don't organize by genre. :P
separate horror from your other genre. this is an order. :P
Where do I put Seven, Silence of the Lambs and Aliens? :P
if you consider them not to be horror, lump them in your assorted genre section.
I have a big enough dilemma trying to figure out whether or not to keep them all strictly alphabetical or keep franchises strictly together.

What is your opinion of the newer Trek series?
Which series? Picard is hit or miss and the last season was mostly for fans to get their nostalgia fix, but I love TNG, so I can't complain. Lower Decks is hilarious. Strange New Worlds is great. Haven't watched Discovery or Prodigy yet.
I enjoyed Discovery, especially the 1st season and the 4th & 5th. Seasons 2 and 3 are a hit and miss.
I like SNW for the most part but I am not a fan of the episodic format and the second season was a bit bumpy.
Picard was good, the second season was wasted on that dumb time travel arc but the 1st and 3rd are solid. My only complaint is that these new showrunners seem to hate DS9. I mean we've got cameos and guest appearances by more than one character from Voyager buy ZERO from DS9. I was actually surprised they involved The Dominion in Picard's last season.

The most glaring problem is House of 1,000 Corpses. My DVD section has Devil's Rejects stored in H next to House of 1,000 Corpses. My bluray trilogy collection is packed together in a "3 From Hell" set.

I have my Bond DVDs in chronological order at the beginning of my collection. Then I have a 24 disc bluray set that sits on top of the bluray shelf.

My collection is huge. Jason's might be bigger idk but yeah, I have so many films that I can't fit them on my shelves lol.
I had to remove what DVD's I have left to make room for all the blue rays. But yeah, one shelf is dedicated to 80's horror and the other has shelves for 70's, 90's etc.

I don't know. To give an idea of the size of mine, I have 7 shelves that each hold 504 DVDs or 576 blurays. 4 of those shelves are filled with DVDs. The remaining three shelves are filled with blurays, steelbooks and TV shows. I desperarely need an 8th shelf but am running out of wall space. :P

Edit: Oh, and on top of all 7 shelves are movie and TV boxed sets that wouldn't otherwise fit inside the shelves.

The wife and kid don't really need a room, they'll be fine in a tent out back, so you know.

When I bought the house, the sell for me was the fact that they converted the back patio into a big room. So I use that for the man cave/movie and game room while the wife can do whatever the hell she wants with the rest of the actual house. :P

Aside from the living room it's the biggest room in the house. I'd rather not space shit out and have shelves in random rooms or have it only as a movie library

Your collection is probably bigger than mine. A few years back I sold off all my VHS movies and a good portion of my DVD's which would amount to over 1000 movies. I am regretting it now in a way but at the same time I don't have the big media room here that I have at my home in Texas. It had a huge wall space in the back where I had all my films on the shelves. Here I have just enough room for the movies and memorabilia I have collected over the years. :thumb:

I would like a new shelf for all my box sets but I don't have the space atm. :'(
