I definitely think that if your city has been robbed, looted and vandalized and the police aren't helping and you'd like to assist your community, it'd be wise to bring a weapon to protect yourself under such unrest. Which was clearly the wise thing to do.
The best thing he could have done was stay home. He was stupid not to and he’ll be paying for it every night.
Would rather violent looters and vandals stay home.
Irrelevant to his own poor judgment.

What do you think of my guess from earlier in the thread?
it's possible. but this seems to be more planned out than that.
That's what I meant. Probably so distraught and disaffected that he had nothing to lose and enough anger to go through with tracking the guy.
well. i think it's more likely to be some kind of hit, than a random guy with a grievance. but you could be right.

Guns are weapons of the weak and cowardly. They provide a sense of power and courage when none was there to begin with. I'm fine with gun ownership, but the view on guns in the states is fucking deranged. They're almost seen as a religious symbol.

Well this got crazy really fast lol.

I admit that I remember seeing the story about Kyle Rittenhouse on the news some years back but I never paid much attention to it so I don't have any opinion of him to share.

To piggy back off what Reign said earlier. I am glad that teachers weren't armed with guns back in the day. I was a bad kid who was constantly back talking the teachers, fighting, etc. And considering many of those teachers were fucking whack jobs I probably wouldn't be here today. lol
I do not support teachers being armed with guns. Schools are for education, they are not detention centers.

The weak and cowardly generally use them on the innocent but to generalize their use as being only for the weak and cowardly is overly machismo to me. I trained in martial arts for half my life and that ain't gonna mean dick if I walk into a liquor store and some weak and cowardly robber turns the gun on me. I can't beat up a bullet. :P
