I've always put 28 Days Later in with The Descent in new(er) movies that I didn't really care for but everyone else seemed to love. Good to know I'm not the only one who didn't care for 28 Days Later.

I'd have to rewatch 28 Days Later, but I would probably also say Descent was superior or: not as bad. :P

The Descent was awesome. One of the horror films of the 2000's imo.

Fucking loved it! I had high expectations considering the first film is one of my favorite Scott movies. And it did not disappoint. There are some historical inaccuracies as with the first movie but that's ok. The acting was good, the set pieces were amazing and it felt like a true sequel. There's already talk of a third film and I hope they do it. It will be interesting to see what Era Scott decides to set a third one in. If I was him I would go with the assassination of Emperor Severus Alexander which set in motion the Crisis of the Third Century.

The politeness and positivity here is mind blowing. Everyone from friends/family to random people at convenience stores. It's a world's difference from California where everyone you encounter is looking through you as you speak to them instead of looking at you. It that makes sense. Restores my faith in humanity, but I'm flying back to purgatory tomorrow. :P
