The Greatest T.V. Themes of All Time
I'm not gonna make a top list, but I'll random out some favorites and probably leave out a couple obvious ones by accident.
All in the Family
The Simpsons
Married With Children
Cheers
Newhart
Sanford & Son
Maude
Family Matters
Malcolm in the Middle
True Detective season one
The Twilight Zone
Full House
7th Heaven
The Bob Newhart Show
Sons of Anarchy
Roseanne
Three's Company
Home Improvement
Tales From the Crypt
Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?
I kinda feel like the one below is the best one, but it shouldn't count and I don't know why it shouldn't. Lol. Just imagine, if you will, being 5/6 years old, a new show comes out targeted for kids your age... and THIS is the theme song. Inconceivable by today's standards.

America peaked somewhere between the 1950s and 1980s, but the 1990s had some fantastic Saturday morning cartoons and that Mighty Morphin Power Rangers show with that bitchin bitchin theme.

Re: The Greatest T.V. Themes of All Time
I rarely watched it when it was on but it is permanently ingrained in my brain from my parents watching it in the living room while I was doing homework or dicking around in my bedroom.

I didn't watch it often either but it's one of those ones that sticks with you. I'd watch an episode or two here and there and a couple of them probably freaked me out I'm sure.
Unsolved Mysteries theme was also dark as fuck and I hated when the house got quiet, it got dark outside and my parents put this fucking shit on. Lmao

I must say, I forgot how bitchin the Power Rangers theme was. Between that and the Pink Ranger. Martial Arts, transforming cars. Aliens and Emperors. I mean fuck it wasn't bad watchin for a young boy on a breezy afternoon.

Gotta throw in Stranger Things, it's the only one I never skip when binging. How I know I don't care for Game of Thrones theme, that now grates on me so skip.

Let's also not forget the Bulk and Skull theme song every time they entered the scene. "Oh great, it's Bulk and Skull". Lmao. I may need to rewatch this show now...

People want to know what's wrong with kids these days, look no further than the difference in theme songs. We had Exhibit A, that bitchin Power Rangers theme there, versus the next generation with this banger:

Re: The Greatest T.V. Themes of All Time
I hated Power Rangers but then again it became a hit when I was already passed the little kid stage. My younger brother loved it.
X-Files is one of my all time favorite shows. Same with Fringe. Both have iconic themes!
It's hard for me to make a list but some of the other shows themes that have stuck with me over the years are:
Millennium (Exists in the same universe with X-Files & Lone Gunman, it stars Lance Henricksen, has one of the best themes I've ever heard)
Dallas
Twin Peaks
Game of Thrones
Six Feet Under
Ghost Whisperer
