When you’re raking in the code nerd cash and it makes sense for the family, you’ll make it across the pond. Spain, Portugal, Italy are great.Jason wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2025 10:49 pmI'm not a big city guy. I'm not a water guy. I'm not an overseas guy. Never been east of Budapest so I can’t help you there. Your money goes a lot farther though.

I've never been east of Manhattan so I don't know what the fuck I'm doing.Headhunter wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2025 11:52 pm Never been east of Budapest so I can’t help you there. Your money goes a lot farther though.

Re: President Donald J. Trump Inauguration Celebration

Re: President Donald J. Trump Inauguration Celebration
It really is fake news! How is this not a good thing? lol

Re: President Donald J. Trump Inauguration Celebration
give that more than 8 million dollars back to the american taxpayers as a gesture of solidarity and goodwill?
Re: President Donald J. Trump Inauguration Celebration
Politico won't relinquish their money. lol. DOGE simply stopped their funding

Re: President Donald J. Trump Inauguration Celebration
indeed. and now someone else will continue to receive that taxpayer money in their stead.
Re: President Donald J. Trump Inauguration Celebration
How do you figure?

Re: President Donald J. Trump Inauguration Celebration
i figure because powerful people are greedy and rarely give up money that they're collecting. maybe it will be used to pave roads or something else good for america. it would feel really good to be proven wrong, in this particular instance.
Re: President Donald J. Trump Inauguration Celebration
In this instance, powerful people were funding a media group through taxpayer dollars and funding was immediately halted once discovered. It seems to me like DOGE is going to be doing this for months while the rest of the administration figures out what to do with the new money and how to save taxpayer dollars.zombie wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 4:19 pmi figure because powerful people are greedy and rarely give up money that they're collecting. maybe it will be used to pave roads or something else good for america. it would feel really good to be proven wrong, in this particular instance.

yeah, it will continue to be collected while they figure out who to give it to. i hope they pay it toward something that is actually good for americans.Jason wrote: ↑Wed Feb 05, 2025 4:23 pmIn this instance, powerful people were funding a media group through taxpayer dollars and funding was immediately halted once discovered.
