Daylight savings got me completely screwed the fuck up. Lol. I hate moving the clocks forward. Move it back and be done forever imo

Re: March 10th, 2025
I agree, I can't stand this moving clocks forward BS. I don't want more daylight, I hate daytime anyways.

Bought this bad boy for at night when I have like 10 TV shows on my mind that I want to pop in and watch before bed and can't decide. So I'll just write them all down and spin the wheel. Wheeeee!

And it's never been "more daylight." It just starts sooner, or later, but you get the same amount depending on the season. I hate the "more daylight" argument.
Even more frustrating that California has voted against this, abolishing "Daylight Savings Time", years ago and we're still doing it.

And I don't get the hatred for it. Outside of having to dust off a couple clocks to set em, in 40 years it's never screwed me up, might lose or gain an extra hour sleep for 1 sunday and then I'm good.
What it does screw up is animals/pets, so if you got those then I see it more. When it's feeding time they don't give a shit about adjusting no clocks so they will bug.

Hate the argument or not, fact is there's more daylight hours in summer due to how the Earth is tilted on it's axis during that season. Now I agree this doesn't have anything to do with DST. But given daylight hours are already longer during the Spring/Summer seasons, it does seem like the days last even longer once the clocks are set forward (even thought that's technically not the case).DancesWithWerewolves wrote: ↑Mon Mar 10, 2025 8:09 am And it's never been "more daylight." I hate summer not just for the heat but it means more people outdoors doing stupid annoying shit. Thankfully I no longer live in the big city and I won't have to deal with the latter anymore.

Re: March 10th, 2025
Remember, I also lived in Alaska for a few years, I'm well aware of the awfulness of how much daylight there is in the summer season
