She's one of the top female vocalists ever for me. She wrote Diamonds & Rust about her relationship with Dylan and it's one of the best songs ever. I think you'd be a fan.

Though I don't think Joan really did any sort of drugs until prescription meds. Dylan tried to keep it private but it's strongly implemented that he was involved with amphetamines. Who knows.

yeah, the instrumentation is more subdued than i'm used to. but i like what i'm hearing.

Very Streets of Philadelphia esque. You can tell this was written in the early to mid 90s period. Probably omitted from the Human Touch album if I were to guess.

"High Sheriff of Hazard" and "We Didn't Know" - both by Tom Paxton - are among some of my favorite protest songs. Nothing against Dylan - I largely feel the same way about Pete Seeger (thought "Waist Deep in the Big Muddy" does get a lot of love from me).
