See I think Mission has kicked Bond off the block and the answer is to scale down for Bond, make them smaller spy movies. The action set pieces in Mission are just in another world.
Bond was the high bar for action filmmaking for decades. I think they need to get back to that. I wish Christopher Nolan had gotten a crack at it, he could of done something
Maybe the very early Bonds were a high bar for their time but when action movies really take off in the 80s and 90s I don’t think Bond was ever on the level of John Woo, Arnold, Stallone, Willis etc.
I've always thought the Bond action scenes even in the bad films were the most technically advanced for their times especially the Dalton and Brosnan years

Bond is dead to me. I still have the original 24 and I'm probably gonna watch No Time to Die once and never watch any new ones.

I'm opening my heart to patriotism. I am team American Spy. Wooo

English food is actually terrorism. London is a great food city as long as you don’t eat English food.

God damn Spielberg and Indy alone were blowing Bond movies out the water without any fancy gadgets.

I'm cool with living off the GOAT SoCal Mexican food anyway. Mexican food in New Mexico isn't even good. If it isn't Mexican food or some form of steak or cheeseburger I'm generally uninterested.

The effort into making tough scenes to film actually work is what I appreciated about them. Dianonds are Forever was wack but the car chase scene was bitchin.

A lot of Bond is like early Star Trek the TV show, and you motherfuckers gonna act like it's Terminator 2. Get out.

That's fine you might like the movie overall better, but not as the high bar of action filmmaking. T2 blows the first one out the water for action set pieces etc. But just the uncalled for Face turn alone I can see not liking as much, Arnold should always be the killing machine motherfuckers.

It’s essentially the same argument as Alien vs. Aliens.

The worst food in the world is Czech food btw. I ate so much Vietnamese when I lived there (big local population, they run all the little corner stores) and those places were always empty while the locals stuffed themselves with unseasoned pork slop.

It doesn’t cross the equator either. Sad! Japan gets all the shine for great beef internationally but South American meat is so tender and delicious omg

I do, but I tend to go the cheaper route. I don't care for PF Chang type Asian food. You'll see me eating Orange/Teriyaki chicken with fried rice though. Golden Chopstix > Panda.

And I don't fuck with seafood. At all.
