Re: June 1st 2025
Rewatching Treasure Planet, it wasn't terrible either. I'd put it in the mediocre pile now, though still on the low end of the Disney spectrum.Reign in Blood wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 10:13 amWhat's wrong with Bolt? Bolt is unseen, which will be remedied.

You guys are talking about Disney animated films, same thing. It's for kids, that was my point.

And adults. Many of the stories have been pretty mature in their storytelling, not keeping things dumbed down for kids. And no, I don't mean "mature" as in swearing & blood/guts.
Re: June 1st 2025

Re: June 1st 2025
And Home On The Range is definitely one failing at the adult audience, it's written like a sloppily made saturday morning cartoon. Ironically this is a PG one.
Re: June 1st 2025
i think i still have to watch it, personally, in spite of the rumors going around. but i get the boycott.
Re: June 1st 2025
I disagree but as I said to each their own. You won't see me wasting my valuable time watching these films.DancesWithWerewolves wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 10:20 amAnd adults. Which comics? There are several comic titles geared towards an adult/mature audience.
Spawn and Lobo for example are loaded with violent mature content. Unless that has changed since back in the day.

I was asking which comics do you feel are only for kids? I would argue there are several titles that are not and would be considered too violent by todays standards.zombie wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 10:30 amany comics i want to.Lazerus wrote: ↑Sun Jun 01, 2025 10:27 amI disagree but as I said to each their own. Home is a pretty easy plummet to the bottom of my flickchart list, by a good margin.

only for kids? i don't think that applies to comics or disney films. this is where we differ. and it's not a jab or anything. just different tastes.
