I'm not sure how much of a rush, but there was only one scene where the CGI looked good to me, and that was an underwater battle at Atlantis. The rest was terrible CGI, so I don't feel I can blame the reshoots on the CGI, just the general rushed production.zombie wrote:how much of the rush on the cgi was because of whedon rescripting and reshooting large parts of the story? could you tell where it was whedon-y and where it was snyder-y?DancesWithWerewolves wrote:
It's still decent. The biggest consensus complaint are the FX and Steppenwolf. Rightfully, too. I'd have been good with it waiting to fix the CGI, but critics would froth at the mouth knowing there was yet another setback on a DC movie.
Ya know, people say they could definitely tell which was which, but other than some dialogue, I don't feel Whedon was that noticeable from Snyder. He said he was trying to keep it looking as much like Snyder's stuff as possible, so by that I think he did well. But you can tell some dialogue spots though, where it's quippier.
