It’s hard to really assess. We’ve only had films in general for a couple generations, so hard to assess “longevity” in that sense. But I expect a fewwill he talked about for a while yet.Tiggnutz wrote:I dont think any superhero movie will be talked about for generations. Maybe The Incredibles will

This is insanity, all Disney owned properties get sucked off like no other by the media, and the only female woman property of DC. Coincidence all others by DC get buried? Pfft
I think DC are struggling for an identity.
DC is late to the game, is their main problem, imo. I'm in full superhero movie fatigue, and I know plenty of others are too. And while I like DC's darker version of things, now they're going up against a 500 pound gorilla of Disney, and they can't make it budge.you can happily watch most films of in the right frame of mind. If you were doing it as a chore then it wouldn’t really work. Shame.
They also seem to me to be unsure how to play their best assets in a sensible manner.
If they just let Bats kill everybody quick like, it would go a long way. Agreed.

What percentage of 25 year old and below have seen a Reeves Superman movie? My guess would be less than 5% and Burtons Batman 15%.zombie wrote:do you mean modern? the dark knight is likely to. but not so modern, burton's batman and reeves' superman / superman 2 have already been.Tiggnutz wrote:I dont think any superhero movie will be talked about for generations. you should.Reign in Blood wrote:Never seen it.Tiggnutz wrote:I dont think any superhero movie will be talked about for generations. Maybe The Incredibles will
but whenever we talk superhero movies, i tend to think live action, so the incredibles is pushed aside for that reason, but i guess it really shouldn't be.

Just sounds like you went in feeling obligated to watch it rather than enjoy it. Never a good recipe for success.Reign in Blood wrote:Bullshit! I think there’s a lot of things they can do with Bats, but there is a big Nolan-like shadow over that.

try humming the theme? if they still don't know, then maybe it's losing out and being forgotten.

Today's young adults are totally different because they spent most of their formative years only being exposed to select things. They get to pick and choose every hour of entertainment.zombie wrote:try humming the theme? if they still don't know, then maybe it's losing out and being forgotten.
I spend the first two hours of my working day listening to the following:
- ear drum busting rap with some dude so auto-tuned it could be anyone
- a conversation about Drake
- A conversation about Kanye
- a conversation about which rapper would win in a fist fight
- a conversation about $200+ sneakers that are $200 for no particular reason
- someone whining about getting bbq pork on either those sneakers or their equally overpriced workout clothes they wear as fashion
- a conversation about "drifting" with their front wheel drive Kias

everyone is exposed to "select things". your employees seem to be exposed to the wrong select things.Foo wrote:Today's young adults are totally different because they spent most of their formative years only being exposed to select things.
