Yup. That was a lot of prison time. 9 life sentences.Tiggnutz wrote:That creepy fucker lived way too long on the tax payers dime.

admittedly, my first thought was, "Finally-someone notable who actually probably deserved to die!" Then I got irritated that someone like him got to live to be in his 80s.

yup, it's a big part of why I have near zero faith in religion and a god anymore. I just can't see a reason for him to still be alive after all this time, much like the a-holes under his control who actually killed the people, I can't think of a reason for any of them to even exist anymore, what purpose they could possibly serve by being alive, other than to further torment the family of those they killed.
The worst of humanity really makes having even the slightest bit of faith in something bigger really fucking hard.

all the people that manson outlived, even in just 2017.... but at least he's gone now.
Re: November 20th 2017
justice league fell behind 'it', for opening weekend.

Re: November 20th 2017

Re: November 20th 2017
could be good. hopefully.
Re: November 20th 2017
anyone know of a horror movie probably from the 70s or 80s, that takes place in a hospital and has demons or some kind of monsters running around? there's possibly a dimensional rift or portal that opens up near the end too. let me know?

Here's hoping Slaughter, or Havok, are online. Because I have nothing...zombie wrote:anyone know of a horror movie probably from the 70s or 80s, that takes place in a hospital and has demons or some kind of monsters running around? there's possibly a dimensional rift or portal that opens up near the end too. let me know?

Indeed it is. People are theorizing it's a factor of more people looking at the Rotten Tomato percentage, plus Thor Ragnorok still being out and going strong, and this Wonder movie almost tripling it's estimated opening weekend (apparently schools were making field trips for people to see this movie, something about bullying and a disfigured boy?).zombie wrote:well, probably better than suicide squad too. but couldn't match that.
Plus, yeah, It is better as well

Word of mouth seem to be doing well though, it's got an 85% audience approval going, so it could have legs in spite of a lackluster opening.

I also noticed it opened on fewer screens than all the other DCEU movies, so that likely had something to do with it that no one's talking about.

Re: November 20th 2017
Opening weekend Box Office is 100% based on hype, not quality of the movie. Disney has an amazing hype machine behind it, which is why Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, etc. all open so huge.
I would rather watch Amalie than go to one of these flicks on opening weekend. Sitting in a theater feels like riding in a clown car.

justice league seemed to have a lot of hype going on. at least on par with bvs and suicide squad, so why the drop if it's all to do with hype? but you're right that box office take does not always equate to quality.
