Morning all! :)
It is a happy day. I'm not spending the day doing prep cooking for tomorrow. WOOT! I don't have to cook this year. Going out instead.
Today is catch up on movies while I do homework day. It's perfect movie watching weather too! Rainy and gloomy. :D

Now to figure out what is decent on Netflix. I like the cover for Bedeviled but the trailer looks horrible. *cringes*

Hi all , hope this is a good day for all.
My Aunts dog got into a fight with a possum and had to have surgery today . I will go pick her up later. Besides that just getting some things out of storage so I can start planning a garage sell. I do most of the cooking here but I don't like celebrating the holidays . I will get the food and pies done then i will go sit somewhere quite and isolated with my bottles of wine

I prefer being alone. its just something I need really to be able to get through most days and especially Holidays

Hey Luna!
A fight with a possum! Poor thing. How much damage? Where to? How did you all break up that fight?
Don't they have big front teeth? Do they carry rabies? Possums are nasty fuckers.

There was this FAAAAAAAAAAT possum on that Doctor Jeff animal show. A lady was overfeeding this domesticated one. It had these permanent sweet looking sad eyes.I never realized how adorable their eyes were. She ended up giving it to a zoo since he was so good with people.

Hi Ava :D she has a 2 inch hole in face under the right eye.. they sewed her up
thankfully possums do not carry rabies .. the claws on that thing are the worst
I ran out with a broom ready to do damage but it fought off bella and took off up a tree

That is a crazy story. Hopefully she's ok?

Feeling increasingly stressed and irritable not knowing if I got my promotion or not, and if not why not.

Were you supposed to find out by now?

Can you just head into their office like...

They just said “next week”. Of which two days are now up. So max 3 days to wait I guess. Feels difficult to keep guessing what I could find out and how to react.

I’m sure it’ll all be explained in due course. Just hard not to think about it. Part of me, having established everyone thinks I should get it, I struggle to think I’d i were to keep my old role how to motivate myself. That’s the real challenge. But I guess all in the future. Working from home tomorrow. Should take bit. my mind off it a lot.

there are a lot of great classics that even someone like foo won't watch, so there's that. :P
Black and White, with Ed Wood being the exception.
Really i never would of guessed that.
I am an uncultured buffoon who idolizes Vince McMahon. It should not be all that surprising. :p
That is a big part of your charm, though.

Haven't been on for a little. October wiped me out more than I thought. :P

But I still plan to review each of the 132 movies I saw, which I'll try to get started on within the next week.

Hope that everyone has been doing well.
For my thoughts on the horror films I've seen, please look here: https://jigsawshorrorcorner.wordpress.com/

I watched Unforgiven for the first time in at least a couple of years, and now I am eager to watch every Clint Eastwood movie. :p

I have so many already, but just bought ten more. I reckon I'm thinkin' of watchin' 'em all in order of release. Most particularly the westerns he's starred in, and potentially ending with Gran Torino, but I haven't decided on the format for viewing.

every movie he directed, or are you including everything he's starred in?

Haven't decided on format of viewing. If I include direction, I will have to watch Jersey Boys and Changeling. Which would really be a huge genre shift after watching 500 westerns. :p
But then I'd miss out on American Sniper.
