Tonight's dinner (which we'll eat at four, as I have to wake up at 1:00 am for work tomorrow morning) will include:

Turkey
Mashed potatoes
Sweet potatoes
Asparagus
Green bean casserole
Stuffing (least interesting portion)

Pumpkin pie (dessert)

we had corn, mashed potatoes, and chicken nuggets cause Mark didn't want me to cook a dinner today, he wanted to play video games instead. I was perfectly fine with that. I have to head back into work at 11 tonight, so I should be sleeping now. Instead I came on here

Worst Thanksgiving ever was when my mom first made it for my stepfather's family. His dad LOVED oyster stuffing. So of course, she wanted to impress him. The turkey, gravy, stuffing, and house all stunk of overcooked shellfish. Was awful.

That sounds terrible with no recovery....

That's when you leave to hit up a local burger place once all the family pleasantries are done. Fuck that noise.

Damn I want a burger with the bun so bad...I've made them so sparse now with low-carbing, the cravings are much more noticeable.

I won't get a lettuce wrap burger again though, that shit was balls messy.

Plus side, I have shorts fitting a little better.

I like to think you onion haters will have that moment where you take off your tastebud sunglasses and see how much light there is in the world.

They are so ubiquitous. It would be like hating water. Practically every cuisine has onion as a base flavor:

- celery, onion, carrot
- green pepper, onion, celery
- garlic, onion, olive oil
- garlic, onion, ginger
- cilantro, onion, cumin

it goes on an on.

Nah, it ruins everything. I can eat it in salsa, that's it. Put it in a burger, all I taste is , onion. Put it in a burrito, all I taste is onion. Maybe my tastebud sunglasses are all the way off, as I can taste the shit just by smelling it. :p

I hate most food served during thanksgiving. Turkey(allergic), sweet potatoes, stuffing, yams, gravy, most veggies...all crap. I would always have ham and mashed potatoes, maybe a roll, that's it.

I love pumpkin, I'll eat it straight from the can. Most pumpkin pies suck, though. When I would make them, I'd make it extra spicy, not really sweet at all. Shit's great.
