Shannon was as usual stupendous. The ass was very nice but besides being visually and musically beautiful the story left me unimpressed.

personally, i think the shape of water is his best english language film. i'm not ready to say best overall, but it's very close.

Also should point out I was very impressed with Sally Hawkins and I'm a huge fan of Octavia Spencer I adore anything she does.

I want to rewatch Pan's Labyrinth, but I was more enchanted by this than Pans. I really think that's just going to vary person to person, which film is prefered.
